Postby Jak Snide » Sun Oct 06, 2002 2:18 pm

(OOC: I wanted to sent this to you via e-mail, but since it's private, I'll have to present my apology publicly.

When I typed "My RPs" I was not trying to steal the credit for this RP from you. It was your idea, and the only reason I'm playing GM is because you gave me the option to.

The reason I used the words "My RPs" is because Seph is in my RP, "Sky Sailors" and had recently held it up a little because of one of his crazy weekends. I used the phrase to facilitate my attempt at humour.

I'm sorry that you took it the way you did, and it was not my intention to imply that I had stolen your RP, and I hope it doesn't seem that way to anyone else. As I posted earlier on, if you want to RP Reium and Sheen at the moment, do so and I will accommodate them as I would the accommodate the other characters. If you'd rather wait till they can rejoin the "main group" that's fine as well. You were the one who created this RP, and thus I am subordinate to you. If you wanted to remove me, that's fine. In the future, I'll be more careful how I word my sideline comments.)

So I'll post then :P

Dane didn't waste any time cheering on his team and got to doing what he enjoyed the most. Like always, he went for the most dangerous looking 'guy' first, the one with the sharpest weapon, biggest gun, or towered over the rest in bulk. Which ever one that was Dane charged head on.

( Sorry for the lack of actualy attack man but its basically just Dane hitting someone - the fight hasn't been going on long enough for there to be any reason for him to do anything else. )

----

From the other side, Shasti headed into battle as well, only a lot more curiously. Her Weapon was drawn ready as she used her double ended staff in huge swing, hoping to knock the oppenent unconious.

O_o Magic user? The dice say otherwise.

Postby Jak Snide » Tue Oct 08, 2002 2:01 pm

Dane's logic led him to the knife wielding soldier, who thrust forward at the martial artists stomach. It proved to be a fatal mistake, as Dane dodged nimbly to the side, seizing the arm and wrenching the arm right back, dislocating the soldiers shoulder before he rammed the knife into the back of his neck, instantly killing the rebel.

Meanwhile, Shasti swung her staff as hard as she could at the nearest rebel. It struck an armored head with a loud "TONK", her victim swaying from side to side for a moment before collapsing backwards, out cold.

(Navin's turn, and there are two soldiers left, each with an assault rifle.)

Navin looked around.
Can't hide...and I'll bet 3:1 they can score on me from this range...and I doubt my GF can do that much....so only one thing to do.
He held up his trident and grinned, facing a soldier.
"BANZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI!"
He screamed, charging with intent to impale.

The soldier, hearing the battle cry of the charging Navin, darted to the side, the student charging past him, feeling a touch silly.

(Rudolf's turn, then Nale's.)

Rudolf dashed toward the disoriented soldier, filled with longing for the end of his blade to be stained again with the crimson blood of the enemy. His sword lowered toward his opponent's heart, aiming to impale the rebel without mercy.

The rebel hadn't counted on a second charge, and turned his attention to Rudolf just in time for the blade to pierce his chest, running him through and impaling him halfway up the blade, head dangling to the side, indicating that he'd already left this mortal coil.

"We're taking the base, so we have to secrure the whole area and make sure there are no more soldiers."

DUN DUN DUUUN!

Postby Jak Snide » Sat Oct 12, 2002 8:44 am

The last rebel left standing, suddenly noticing that all his comrades were dead or out of action, decided to do the smart thing and dropped his gun, throwing his hands up into the air.

"I surrender!" he said, his voice muffled by the helmet.

Navin blinked, realizing the soldier'd given up. Of course, this means one thing.
"Oy! Dane! If you kill him before we get information I will shove your gunblade where the sun doesn't shine! I realize you have your homicidal urges, but still!"

Getting this done...

Postby Faye Alkaline » Sun Oct 13, 2002 2:37 am

Reium had only a few moments ago rested his head agaisnt the pillow of his bed, sleep taking him almost as soon as he shu his eyes. He was sill angry about missing the exams, and decided that sleep if the right course of action..next to taking it out on the critters in the training center (damn animal right nuts).

Slyph has already sensed reium's anger and of course felt sorry for him. Tthough she thought it was because him and his "best friend" are in a fight. She was sure that he and Rudolf were just arguing..but Reium was making something for him. she was sure Rudolf would just loooove it so much..that she decided to wrap it for him and set it in his room. So the two could be "buds" again. so being as quiet as she could, she took the "gift"from the desk and searched for something to wrap it in..

((OCC: so confusion doesn't run rampan, Slyph THINKS Rudolf and Reium are friends..but I'm sure they're not.))

Rudolf stepped in front of the surrendered soldier, idly wondering what his face must look like right now, trembling and sweating beneath his helmet. This sort of cowardice was to be expected from these types, honestly. Leaning in a bit closer, he smiled lightly at the prisoner.

"I don't recall anything in our orders about taking captives," he remarked.

The soldier trembled with fear, terrified at the sudden revelation that SeeDs didn't take prisoners, which had his prospects of continued existence very thin. He didn't say a word though, being a little too scared to speak right now.

*rolls eyes*

Postby Choark » Wed Oct 16, 2002 11:30 am

Navin got a good slap in the back of the head from Shasti, who glared at him. "You trying to get on his nerves?" She then turned to Dane. "What are you planning to do with him?"

Dane looked back at her and shrugged. "Hell, since Navin wants to ask him questions, let him, maybe he has a thing for guys in a uniform or something."

With that Dane walked passed Rudolf and grinned as he passed him. "You can be a sick little *&@% can't ya?" he laughed out and walked around, keeping an eye out for any other soldiers. "And someone give Nale a bone or something, he faught like a good doggy..."

Shasti, turned to the soldier as she did have a few questions. "Sir... umm Sir" She made sure she had his full attention. "Now if you please answer our questions i'm sure we'll look a little more kindly on your situation hmm?" Though it was true we weren't told to take any prisioners...

"I have just one simple question at the moment. Please be sure to know that if we find you answer was a lie you will be killed." After giving a sweet little smile to him she continued. "Are there any more soldier at this base?"

Rudolf waved off Dane's comment with slight annoyance. "Not like I was going to actually kill him, probably..." he muttered. He shrugged and stepped away from the soldier. "Finish your questions and let's go, we're wasting time here."

Out in the middle of Nowhere... back with Ash

Postby Ash Fanrico » Sun Oct 20, 2002 8:17 pm

Ash and his group were slowly making progress towards the trail they had spotted. Ash was still very pissed about the current situation. He had to let somebody on the other teams know about this.

But... what if their radio conversations were being monitored? Ash quickly thought up a plan. He grabbed the walkie talkie and spoke into it.

"Dane! Dane you there?" asked Ash over the radios.

The man nodded to Navin as Dane's radio crackled to life.

"Fsssssk Dane you there?"

Choark

Has been neglating posts everywhere -_-;;;

Postby Choark » Tue Oct 22, 2002 7:07 pm

With a scowl Dane took out the radio and leaned against the wall and answered the call.

"Dane here old man. You missing me?" Though he was very testy in his reply, Dane was shocked that Ash would contact him. Either the old fool would need him to get his old wrinkled ass out of trouble or this would actually be important.

Shasti shook her head and mumbled something about prefuring when she didn't even know when Navin exsisted. However there was something she wanted to know.

"There's something else too. How many enemies do you people have? I know who hired us but i would like you to tell me all opposition to you people"

Those highly trained men were bothering Shasti and she was hoping for a name to go with the describtion. Or a list of possible names to check through.

Ash recieved Dane's reply. "Well there's been something big going down. I don't know if you realize it, but you might be in some major trouble. Someone has apparently cut through the other two squads. People in Black Outfits and some pretty impressive weaponry. Seen anything or run into anything?" he asked over the radio as he looked back at the general direction of the massacre sight.

If Dane could tell, Ash was being serious and was all business in this reply.

Choark

Hmm Dane being professional O_o?

Postby Choark » Wed Oct 23, 2002 11:37 am

Dane frowned as he thought about what was going on. It was one thing taking out these weaklings, but to take out two teams of SeeD, even just trainee's like himself, was something special.

The frown turned into a grin when he considered just how strong these people must be.

"So you ran into there handy work too old man? We saw a video of them cutting up the last base we went to. The cunts managed it without any signs of using GF's either." Danes grin extended when he relayed that piece of information.

"They're taking out SeeD's as well? You need us to save you or something? Or have you got some plan to find and crush these assholes?"

Once again, Dane let the desire to find someone who everyone considered strong take over him. He wanted to find and destroy these people and for everyone to see him do it. He generally believed himself capable of taking them all out, his pride in his power never wavered.

Ash tries his plan... among other things.

Postby Ash Fanrico » Wed Oct 23, 2002 2:39 pm

Ash knew he'd have to keep this brief, so as to not waste the radio power.

Ash pondered, "Not right now... but this IS very bizarre. You and me may not see eye to eye at times... but you are in charge of other people... people who I've trained. My only advice to you is this Dane... don't jump the gun or loose your focus. Judging from the sight out here... these guys are obviously really good." replied Ash as he stood amongst his squad.

IM: Stahl... are you listening in on these conversations?

"Alright... continue with what you are doing. Try to find any possible information... " Ash paused... he had to know if Stahl was overhearing this conversation... "while I and my squad are going to try and get any clues we can find... out here near this valley entrance where the battle took place." said Ash.

"Good luck @#%$. Over and out." he said as he grinned to his squad as he clicked off his radio.

"Instructor... why did you lie to Dane? We're farther north from the sight." said one of his students as he pointed towards the direction they came.

Ash sighed, "I have to know... if Stahl was overhearing the conversation. If those strangers come towards that spot... we'll know that someone at least is listening in on our conversations on the radios." replied Ash.

Postby Jak Snide » Fri Oct 25, 2002 7:15 am

The static hiss of Dane's radio cut out, leaving the junior commander with a decision to make about the group's COA.

Meanwhile, the soldier was replying to Shasti.

"We're a rebel faction. We're against any troops that have been hired by them, or are under their command. That makes you, and the national guard. But there's been these Black Operators showing up, and they've taken out at least half a dozen of our bases. Are they SeeDs as well?!"

---

Sheen lay in the infirmary bed. He was feeling a little better, but that wasn't what was bothering him. He'd been in the training center, like he'd been many times before. But this time something...no, someone had got him. No monster in there could inflict a wound of this nature. Something was up.

Navin decided to let Shasti do the questioning, and walked off a small distance.
Right, so we have these oddball guys in black who not only can use GFs, but don't seem to particularly care who they're killing. All in all, I think we have an entire military squadron of Dane clones.

After a while Ash spoke up, "Alright... let's go. We still have people to find. They could be in need of our help, and have little time left." he ordered as he turned towards the woods.

He stopped, "But keep your eyes open... those Black Ops people could still be in the area." he said as he continued towards his destination.

Postby Jak Snide » Sun Oct 27, 2002 11:04 am

Ash's journey through the small woodland area was uneventful. While he and his students weren't ambushed and eliminated by a team of Black Ops, he didn't find any of the missing students either. The trail of blood had stopped about half way from the battlefield, with no signs of a corpse or a kill anywhere.

(They WERE looking for survivors, but i guess they could go investigate where they were headed originally)
Ash cursed as he kicked the ground. The attempt to find survivors had yeilded nothing... nothing at all.

One of the students spoke up, "Think they might have taken some prisoners?" asked the student. Ash growled, looks like they might have to go to where they were previously heading afterall...

"We'll try to stick close to the outskirts of the path. They were probably expecting us by now... so keep your eyes open. They may be heading our way to seek us out. Don't be scared to speak up if you see something suspicious." he said as they headed then towards the spot they were originally ordred to go.

IM:Makes sense... they wouldn't let the wounded or any survivors go. They probably have them prisoner somewhere close to where they were planning to ambush us.

Ash was still pissed that he had trusted Stahl all this time. Something had happened to the man he had once trusted with his life.

The small squad pushed forward on their new path.
