Drug Bust [closed]

When we last left Miang, Kyle, and Kris, they had just recieved costumes from the ex-criminal Taiar. They had proceeded to the second house from the north street and discovered a possible lead. Kris infiltrated the suspect house and initiated a plan to get the others inside. He chained down his gruff guard with some well-timed magic and dashed for the door leading out a group of thugs. Miang and Kyle stand poised to attack.

Kris pulled the Chaos Stone from a coat pocket. and held it to his chest, the way he would have if Mr. Bear where still there and not in a million peices. In his hands, he gathered Chaotic energy and prepared to loose it on the thugs...

"I'll be a big boy...I won't be scared by them....Mr. Bear's still here to keep me safe...!"

He got ready to run for cover, waiting for some excuse to blast the thugs with the energy he had collected....

Kyle stood there wearing the 'disguise' of a leather jacket and sunglasses, rapier drawn but held down at his side, as to not look too readily offensive. He wanted to solve this without anyone getting hurt needlessly. Squinting through his newly acquired shades, He took a quick count of the thugs, and noted what sorts of weaponry they were using.
If they had to fight, at least He was used to this type of thing, although it had been a while.

Lets hope that they give in without violence... I'm sure we still have a lot of work to take care of...

Donning his usual friendly smile, he spoke.

"Eh...Excuse us, we're here doing an investigation for the Doman Guard...we have reason to beleive you may be storing a shipment of Illusar...Your cooperation would be muchly appreciated."

Either they will think about the situation and calm down, or this will upset them more. I hope for the former...

Kyle's tail flicked a bit as he waited for a response.

Kris winced as a voice called out within his head- The voice of his other self, Kristoph, yelling at Kyle....

KYLE, YOU $@(*$@ING IDIOT! DO YOU EXPECT THEM TO BE ALL FLOWERS AND SUN-SHINE TO THE GUARD?! YOU FLAMING IDIOT!!!

Still poised to move, Kris tried his best to keep his body, and mouth out of Kristophs control, He realised the last thing they needed now was Kristoph going berserk.

[Nekogami]

"SHIT, it's the Badgers!," called the mace armed drug dealer. "We gotta take 'em out."
"I'll try to warn the others," said the sword armed drug dealer.
"Let's kill him," Said the longsword armed drug dealer.

Hrm...I had a bad feeling it would come to this...

Making a dash towards the nearest dealer, Kyle gave Kris a bit of cover as he attempted to relieve the thug of his weapon.

(Disarm, Dealer B)

[Nekogami]

Kyle disarms the Shortsword armed drug thief.

Kyle now in range of the Mace armed drug thief clumsily swings at Kyle who dodges the attack, leaving the mace-armed thief open for Miang's attack.

The dragon whirls around for a tail whip but the thief dodges, leaving the Lanese woman open for the third thiefs attack but he misses as well.

Kris was a bit surprised by all the sudden action, until Kristophs voice rang out in his head again-

"Well, are you going to stand around all day, or are you going to blast someone with that magic energy you've been holding for the last five minutes?"

Kris nodded to nothing at all, and chanted the incantation, summoning power from the stone in his right hand to amplify his power more, upgrading his weak Chaos Bolt to a full grown Chaos Blast, aimed at the mace-armed thug.

Seeing Kris's attack the long sword armed drug dealer slashes at the small boy. See the lumbering large human from the corner of his eye, Kris dodges.


((Turn 2-Kyle))

Kyle decided to take advantage of Kris's spell hitting the Dealer, as he continues his systematic disarming of the thugs.

Lets hope that I can keep this up...

(Disarm, Dealer A)

Kyle rushed the dealer but unlike his heavier cohort this thug was ready and successfully avoided being disarmed.

However, Miang delivered a well-timed fist to his skull and then to his stomach. He retaliated Miang's attack by slashing her deep along her arm.

Kris raised his arms to cast another spell, begining to chant his incantation before a thought crossed his mind- Griff said that they'd probably prefer convictions to a bodycount. Althought Kristoph wanted to destroy them just for the sheer Hell of it, it was Kris in control at the moment, and he was going to do what he thought was best. Turning his attention to the disarmed dealer, he began another spell, forming the words in his head, then forcing them out of his lips. The incantation was an easy one he had already preformed earlier in the night, and he knew the best way to stop the dealers without killing them was to keep them tied down. Finishing his incantation, he thrust his arms at the unarmed dealer and shouted- 'Chain Magic!'

(Chain Magic, intending to pin Dealer B to the ground)

[Nekogami]

The chains of magical energy burst from the ground and held Dealer B into bondage.

"Wha-What the hell," He cried struggling.

"Nice job," Miang nodded to Kris.

(Kyle)

[Capntastic]

Kyle rushed at the dealer again, hoping his persistance would pay off, or at least to distract him enough to make an opening for Miang or Kris to do something.

Come on, just drop your weapons and surrender...do money and drugs mean that much to you?


(Disarm, Dealer A)

Kyle's second attempt was successful in disarming the thug. Miang also moved into him and attacked with a strong kick to his gut.

Drug dealer C, seeing his comrade in trouble struck Kyle with the flat of his blade across his head dealing 20 damage to the Kyle.

Kris once again took action, but used a little logic this time- It would probably be better to tie down the one that still had his weapon then the one who had been disarmed. So with a little encouragment from his 'other half', Kris once again threw his palms out at the drug-dealer with the sword and screamed- "Chain magic!"


(Chain magic, dealer C)

Kris's chain's of chaotic energy burst from the Doman streets and grasped the wrists of the third drug dealer.

He struggled to get free but failed miserably. "The papa won't let you get away with this!" He spat.

[Capntastic]

Kyle wanted to end this now. Things werent going in favor of the thugs. Kyle made a rapid lunge and attempted to disarm the final thug.

(Disarm to the Remaining Thug. I forgot which letter.)

Kyle successfully disarmed the remaining thug. The swung for Kyle clipping him in the chin (-5 HP) but Miang gave him a quick chop and downed him.


"Whew..." Miang wiped her brow. "Uh oh... We have a small crowd guys..." About a dozen or so slum citizens had gathered to watch the fight. "Now I know why L'Sarithe said keep the street fights down..."

Kris looked at the crowed, trying to catch his breath while seeming as "In control" of himself as a five-year-old Neko boy could be at the moment, then looked to the thugs.

"What should we do with these guys?"

Miang nudged one with her toe. "Hmmm..., tie up inside maybe?"

Kris simply nodded and began casting the downgraded version of Chain Magic (Aptly named "Rope Magic"), hoping to bind the drug dealers a bit more and make escape that much more likely.
