Kelne bit back a nasty retort. Something along the lines of if excitement were a medical condition, perhaps she'd care to describe the symptoms of sadness, joy or anger to him for future reference? She had damn well
better know what she was doing. The signs seemed to point to it, even if being called ignorant by the likes of her rankled.
As with so many statements by the locals, this one just wasn't worth the cost of arguing with them over it. Godsdamnit, he
hated relying on these people for
anything, let alone fixing up a sick comrade. All it did was reinforce their auras of smug superiority.
It was something of a shock to realise that the Thalsians were rapidly aproaching the top of his list of aggravating people. And this was a list which included the minions, the Sidhe, Infinity, Enlil in full peacekeeper mode, and any number of others. He was not looking forward to spending a couple of weeks tracking down leads from them.
Firmly keeping his thoughts internal, Kelne maneouvred the carpet over next to a bed, and used his free hand to help lift Jeridan onto it.
