So... I hear you do the RPing here. Any chance I could get in on that? I think you'll find my resume quite impressive:

- Read the FAQ without falling asleep more than twice
- Exellent writing skills, despite having just misspelled the word "Excellent"
- Makes a half-decent Shepard's Pie

I've tried RPing plenty of times before, and I know what to do... in theory. But I hardly ever join an RP that concludes with any satisfaction. As a result, I still feel like a newbie despite my knowledge and experience. I'm hoping to improve on that, and will defenitely give my best effort while I'm here.

You gain bonus points because your icon scares the everloving shit out of me.

But that's okay. More fun than fiber if I'm feeling a little blocked.

Anyway! Glad to see you here, and hopefully we'll be able to get you involved with things. I do want to tell you that AIM is a big part of community participation and whatnot. We're in our AOL chat a lot, and scads of RP happens in similar chats.

AIM chat room is: RPGWWchat

My screennames for every imaginable messenger service are on the line below my post. Feel free to click one and poke me. You should also feel free to poke anyone else who has such contact info posted, because that's why it's there.

Welcome to RPGWW! You have a scary avatar image!

I am sure that you will find something here to interest you.
If you have AIM (highly recommended!) you should chillax in the room "RPGWW CHAT"

If you have some character ideas, feel free to post them in the character closet and someone will respond (hopefully!) quickly and help you work on them.
Not that we're evil and enjoy stifling creativity, or anything- just finding ways to help make things mesh with current settings and stuff :)

If you have AIM (Again, highly recommended!), feel free to instant message me at 'BRODZKY ZERO'

Hi, Kai! And also Capntastic! Two reccomendations for Chat RPing within as many minutes? I must look into this. Just about all of my RPing experiences were forum based. I usualy like being able to respond to things at my leisure.

Also, I am somewhat daunted at the amount of World Material you people have accumulated. It may well be many days in the reading... how essential is it that I have a thorough awareness of the world?

As for you, pd Rydia...

Image should know better than to serve ANY pie without a heaping helping of a certain frosty treat. I hope you like ice-cold strawberry flavor... of doom.

Added: I checked out the chatroom "rpgwwchat", and it was quite empty. Is this incorrect, or just a bad time of day/night?

Depends on the day, really. Some nights people are just busy with other things. =/

Also: You both win for shepherd pies
