Mr. Thenswick

I'll add a background later when I feel like doing it. For now... I made another thing.
-------------------------

There aren't a lot of happy and/or content necromancers out there. Seems most of them turn to existentialism or villainy. One wonders why anyone bothers to get into the profession with a record like that.

Unless of course they were angsty or villainous beforehand.

Image

Edited by: [url=http://p068.ezboard.com/brpgww60462.showUserPublicProfile?gid=brainwalker>BrainWalker</A] Image at: 12/31/05 3:29

"Why not? All I had to do was open a gate to his bed and stick up a sign saying 'Hot virgin willing to make the ultimate sacrifice in the name of international socialist fraternity.'"

BW: Rillian from Dominic Deegan. He's not really angsty, just detatched. Perfectly understandable considering some of the stuff he's had to do :(

I actually play a reasonably well-adjusted necromancer in second gen. She's not super-kawaii Happy Sparkle Princess necromancer, since that's even worse as a cliche than the dark and broody type, but she gets by.
-------------------------

Well, it was more of a joke than a bold statement about Necromancy, and I do recall having used phrases like "a lot of" and "most of", hence leaving some elbow room for more well-adjusted necromancers. I suppose I feel a little guilty for having a necromancer villian character in my huge mental character gallery. Not too much, though.

Also, super-kawaii Happy Sparkle Princess necromancer is a cliché? When did that happen?

Image

Edited by: [url=http://p068.ezboard.com/brpgww60462.showUserPublicProfile?gid=brainwalker>BrainWalker</A] Image at: 1/2/06 16:20

It's one of those anti-cliche stereotypes. I don't happen to think it works very well, but it's occasionally an attractive alternative for some people.
-------------------------
