Can you draw me a demon Hippo, dressed as an afro bear with bling (lots of Gold man, gold) and tight, tight trousers. Please?

I gave him more of a "Hip Flask" look.

I kinda wussed out on the animal genetalia, sorry.

ETA: 40 minutes from initial sketch to PS glory.

I couldn't think of anything funny for him to say. I just knew he needed a chihuahua.

A T-rex in casual business attire and a black tie with bones printed on it, wearing glasses, holding a human skull and pointing at a diagram on a chalk board with one of those long pointy wooden teacher's pointer... sticks.

He should be talking about how we can determine that humans were loosely related to camels because of the shape of our molars.

ALTERNATIVELY:

A healer monster (Dragon Warrior thing) latched onto a random human's face, while sayying: "~lelelelelelele".

NEW SHITE.

Unread postby Nick Shogun » Thu Sep 29, 2005 2:07 am

This one took longer, because I had to sketch it instead of doing it entirelly with inks.

Image

Obviously, I copied the dinosaur from Qwantz, but I changed the color, because a brown dinosaur seems more believable to me. The camel was the hardest part--I can't draw camels! Once again, Hip Flask was helpful.

Has anyone read Hip Flask, anyway? Genetically modified animal detective comics, booyah.

EDIT: I redrew the Hippo, so I'm gonna do that next.

BULGE.

Unread postby Nick Shogun » Thu Sep 29, 2005 4:55 am

Here's Choark's newly designed hippo:

Image

I didn't feel like coloring it, because I didn't know exactly what color to make everything. Just the hippo part. This one came together much better than the first. It feels a lot more proportioned, and adds a lot to the picture with the props. I only wish I could get rid of those damned arrows!

Next up: Rock 'Em Sock 'Em, probably tomorrow night.

I want a nondescript guy in a grey business suit and tie, balding, middle-aged, and just a little overweight, and carrying a briefcase and a pistol. He's the kind of corporate assassin whose goal isn't not to be seen, but not to be remembered.
-----

I did this from scratch, no help from online. I wasn't sure what Rockem Sockem looked like... my memory's hazy... so I just went with what I remembered from Toy Story 2 and Courage the Cowardly Dog.

I think it looks fine. Had a hard time thinking of anything for the elf to say, though.

Business bear is now being colored.

You may well have seen the OS-tans before...
ostan_1123132991533.jpg
ostan_1124006114057.png

I've seen the idea adapted to any number of things, from specific programs, browsers, websites, game systems...like so:
firefox-ko02.png.jpg
404-tan.jpg
gameboy.gif.png
ds-tan.gif.png

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to draw such an embodiment of RPGWW. Or, alternately, of any one of the subforums of your choice.

[edit] Also, Elf v. Orc wins my internet for the evening. Though the Hippo with Chihuahua came close.

This one was hard, because I had to alter a former sketch. I'd drawn a really nice face shape a year ago, and have been saving it for a day like this. I skimmed down the cheeks and added eyebrows and slight hair.

I like that briefcase. One of them latch-e ones. Also, I can't draw guns worth anything, and I'm fine with that.

Shinigori needs to stop trying to get in on End's buttsecks racket.

'Alice in a furry suit' means almost exactly that: I take it you haven't seen Jeremy and Alice's antics from ADV. Basically, Alice is an *ahem* extremely well-proportioned red-haired girl who's always chasing after Jeremy. Jeremy is just a weak little guy wearing loose pants, a t-shirt, and a yellow headband who for some reason doesn't want her affections.

HILARITY ENSUES.
