Link HATES Zelda

Seriously... I think Link's really pissed off that he has to constantly save her. Not to mention he's gonna have to do it AGAIN, in 2006. He and Mario probably get together in a bar and complain about their girlfriends. <p><div style="text-align:center">

The early morning cartoons of my childhood taught me that Link only hates Zelda because she never puts out.

zelda looks like she is high, which is awesome.

I don't think link hates zelda, i mean, every game has a different link and a different zelda, so unlike mario, (each) link only saved (each) zelda once or twice. <p><div style="text-align:center"> <span style="color:fuchsia;font-family:comic sans ms;font-size:large;">LAMBO SWIMS LIKE A BRICK!!</span>

Bar scene awesomeness is now seconded.

Also, I am strongly reminded of Penny Arcade for one reason or another.

Also also, I'm pretty sure the 'first' Link had to save Zelda (as well as a few other places) repeatedly, before the big N wised up and decided to start switching worlds to make things more believable. I'm pretty sure the first few NES Zeldas were direct sequels, as well as the first GB one.

Or something like that. <p>

<span style="font-size:xx-small;">"Their rhetoric... You didn't put communists in his bed did you!" came Amber's indignant reply.

"Why not? All I had to do was open a gate to his bed and stick up a sign saying 'Hot virgin willing to make the ultimate sacrifice in the name of international socialist fraternity.'"</span>

The second Legend of Zelda game (creatively titled "Zelda II"!) was not only a direct sequel to the first, but was also rediculously terrible!

On the bright side: At least you know that Princess Zelda is not, in fact, in another castle. <p>

It was Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

Also, it was groovy.

Both of these are just my opinion, though ;D

Also, there were only two NES Zeldas, and I've never heard that the GB one was a direct sequel to either of them. All the timelines I've seen have Zelda 1 and 2 at the end of the timeline. The one I prefer:

Ocarina of Time ---- Windwaker (Alternate timeline split off of "Adult Link" time (Link disappears, Triforce of Courage shatters and spreads throughout the world upon his departure))
Majora's Mask ("True" timeline from Link being sent back to the child time)
_(New Link)_
Link to the Past
Link's Awakening
_(New Link)_
Oracle Games
_(New Link)_
Legend of Zelda
Adventure of Link

I'm still not sure where Four Swords and Minish Cap fit in, except that Minish Cap must come before Four Swords since the Four Sword is created at the end of Minish Cap. <p>

I believe the Four Swords/Minish Cap games were pre-Ocarina.

Also, I feel rather ashamed of my initial impressions of Wind Waker that were based solely on its cartoonish looks. That game is pure badassery. Even if the end of the final battle did make me cringe. <p>--

Before Ocarina? Really? Everything I've heard places it smack dab at the start of the timeline...though I guess that is one solution to the Ganon-and-Master-Swordlessness. Never considered that placement.

Huh. <p>
