Yeah, decided to do a sprite for Shin. Again, possible Helper/Secondary Character idea. Like with the Choark, Jinx, and End sprites.
The End sprites in question are simply the FF6 ones he already has.
Yep... I'm pretty good at that "101 ways to utilize the same sprite model" thing.

Bunny-
I seriously have no flarkin' idea how I made this. I seriously don't. But it turned out decent in the end. Hope Bunnygirle likes it. I may try and attempt to make more if I can just remember which flarkin' sprite I used. *hits self*

Queen Aya-
Now this won't be a secondary character like the other ones. Nope, the mighty Dragongirl Queen of Doma is going to be strictly NPC fair for the game.
Again what I like to call, "101 Ways to utilize the same sprite model". I've luckily been able to get away with it so far. >_>

Merr-
Yep, now with clothes finally. So Merr's no longer a nudist now. Of all the boss characters that I have in mind for the game (including Rico, Amana, Kage, Arnast, and Astrynax), Merr here's gonna probably be the most hardest to make out of all of them. Mainly because I have to actually do some major Frankenspriting to make him. If I remember correctly, it's a mixture of Masa&Mune, Robo, and that big Triceratops guy from the dinosaur period of CT. Plus the custom made face.

I like the eyebrows on Aya. She looks pissed! By the way Ash, are you planning on making this a single, dual, or multiplayer game? If it's already been mentioned then I'm sorry for the repeat.

Wow, you're really working hard at this, Ash.
You mentioned Rico as a boss, so this intrigues me. What exactly IS the plot of this game? is it just random stages, or is it actually the storyline from a certain RP? I imagine turning something like "The Hit" (which Rico was pretty much the end villian of) into game-mode would be pretty frightening.
If you have a page with information or another thread or something, and I've never seen it, sorry for clogging up this one. But I'm really interested! <p>---------------

I'm glad you like it. I hope this, in some way, repays a small amount to all the artwork you've done for me in the past. i'm gonna try and make more poses for it as well. Try being the keyword.
DarkBlade: No, it is not a multi-player game or a dual game. For right now, it is primarily a single player game.
Molokidan: The story's unique. It's based off of a failed RP idea of mine from long ago, basically... all the villains/former villains mentioned (Rico, Amana, Merr, Kage, Astrynax, Arnast, etc.) have all been forcifully recruited into the invasion/destruction force by the head honcho, the dark entity behind all of this. There will be original villains as well, generals and minions of this malevolent creature's main forces.

Ah, it's been a while since i've seen your spritework. I'm curious as to what sprites were used to make some of these?
CT+FF6?
IE: The slightly more detailed and larger sprites Griff, Aya, and ect.

Yeah a mixture of CT and FF6. May bring in some SoM and RSaGa sprites as well. Specially for attacking animations and whatnot.

Also the fact that RSaGa3 has character sprites with clothing features not found easily in CT. Like take this sprite idea for example.

Kamos Sprite Idea-
The Kamsheen guy (I forget his name) has a jacket on that can be easily edited to look like Kamos' coat. The only problem is, that the RSaGa3 characters, while helpful, are still a bit shorter than CT sprites, so I'll also have to edit the height of some of these.
This sprite is only an idea that's going through my head right now. Again, this is all apart of my plan to somehow put in as many RPGWW characters as possible. Either as playable characters, (Main, Secondary or otherwise) NPCs, cameos, or

Characters So Far

Here's a line-up of all the characters that are going to be IN the game, as well as those who will be
possible inclusions into the game. Did this to mainly see how many character sprites I had so far. As well as to see how they all look compared to each other, in appearance and in height.
Again, some may be in the game, some may not. I'm mainly still up in the air about Remarte' (in between Griff and Pure) being in it or not. Not to mention the possible sprite changes as well, like with Kamos and maybe Griff.
All depends on if the owners of said characters come forward and give me feedback. 9_9

Dude, Archmage looks TOO bad-ass. I seriously mean it. He is too bad-ass for his own good in that sprite.

Well, Griff reminds me of a better version of something I tried to do long ago- I like it.
Commentary, though. Dark Fanrico there has...Well, a case of "What the fuck is that?" for a face. You're trying to add too much detail for something that's supposed to be relatively simple. I've done it myself, though I've found it best to tone down detail. Working with sprites, too much detail can be just as bad as too little.
Edit: Hak looks...A bit beefy, and the colors seem wonky. Perhaps another base is in order? <p>

I think what Shini was trying to say is that Hak isn't beefy at all; he's a bishy nancey boy who ponces around with spells =P
As for the rest of the sprites, they're all good, although the smaller version of Rico does suffer from the problem Shini pointed out.

I see what you mean, as I'm currently viewing these pictures from a MAC at the college I go to. The colors do look a little bit wonky, course it probably has to do with color options and resolutions as well. Not to mention that a bit of color distortion WAS done when I saved that many characters with that many different colors to one GIF file. Also the fact that my current Gif making abilities suck ass.
But I do see what you mean. I'll try to, when I have time today, between college, a dentist appointment and WORK (e_e)... I'll put up the secondary Hakaril sprite concept I have, and see what you all think about it too. Since his "beefyness" is probably a result from the cloak/jacket he wears.
Merr's colors look ugly from the computer I'm viewing em with. I don't know what the fugg's going on there...
I'll take the advice into mind, and see what I can come up with later on tonight or tommorrow.
Glad Shin liked the Griff sprite as well. I was a bit worried since the character's obviously changed a bit since then, and didn't know if Griff still wore those "Christmas Colors" as they used to be referred to.
Doug, I'll try to either IM or email you sometime today.
Well time to get back to class and try and finish up a digital imaging assignment. Then it's a fun filled hour of having dentists pick and poke at my teeth with sharp instruments. Yay... e_e

Finally got done with the dentist, and have a while before going into work. Made some solo character gifs.

Rico Concept-
Now... I have no clue if this will look as good or not on other people's computers. All this really is, is a recolor of the Ash sprite I'm using for the game (duh). So I don't know if the gif format will flark with it or not.

2nd Hakaril Sprite-
A possible alternate sprite. My only gripe is the fact that... well his head looks HUGE compared to the rest of his body. Least it looks so to me. Again, don't know if it will look the same as it does for me on other people's computers.

The Cho, Nekoko, Amana, Griff, and LDC sprites are especially hardcore. Merr'spretty groovy, as well. Bunnygirle just seems a bit too small and thin compared to the others...she's eventhinner than Pure and Lydia, you know? Dia's head seems a bit big, too... ^.^;; Darn FF4 sprites. But this is some groovy stuff overall, that you got here. I'm surprised anyone is using that sprite of Nakibe I had. o_O Where did you find it? I don't remember having uploaded it? <p>

I think you did Dia... cause I got em (Nak and Stacey sprites) off an web account page link. Now I don't remember WHERE... or WHEN... but... I ^^ Saved em to a file and now they're apart of my "collection" of RPGWW-related sprites.
