Well, it
was supposed to be mostly complimentary. I'm just not a big fan of the "black and red" character design concept, 'cause lamers love it. I mean, have you seen hungrycrackpot's board graphics?
... actually, I suppose that's unfair. He's not an asshat or anything, he just has deplorable taste in graphics.
Just take a look at Darkphoenixfri13's character. Or his avatar. Or his profile. Or that one forum he frequents. You'll see where I'm going with this.
It's not that you
can't make a good, interesting angsty character with affinity with the element of fire who wears black and red all the time, it's just that that's not exactly a genere of character design that's known for a great deal of scuccess as far as "not sucking" is concerned. The spike knuckles and the eyes which are not red are good places to start. So is not being a lameass.
Of course, I'm just cynical. I doubt you'd get such commentary from much of anyone else. <p><div style="text-align:center">
