Wooah, been a long time since I stepped into this place.
Well just to add my own opinions, they may end up being incorreect or whatever but its just my opinion in the end. I'm not too bothered about how far apart the eyes are. In the end I think Dogs go by different measurements to humans anyway, however his right eye doesn't look right, sorry to say. Its either the faxct its higher then his left, or if his headis meant to be tilted a little its just the wrong shape.
The nose (or the mouth bit, I'm not really up on Dog body part lingo). I can help here I think. I can tell you thought about it because you marked the middle line - from where it comes from and out to. However you would have gotten a better effect if you followed the outline of the nose. That is, you drew from where you knew the face "starts it" - the middle - but you would of been better following its outline.
Sheesh this is hard without you in front of me.... Ummm....
Right... A second...
I'll edit this with some help pictures...

OKAY: Please remember this isn't a diffinate guide. I never ever draw furry myself and I'm not to up on what dogs actually look like. This is for consideration only, and to show you what I was on about. Also the three together were only a 5 minute job.
Right, from what I can tell this is basically how you thought of your face. You saw where the the nose starts from and drew out from there.....
However, what I meant earlier was that you should try and consider its
Outline. Mine, by the way, is wrong but I'm not the furry artist here =P but it is just to help you show what I was thinking about. If I was to critque mine I'd say I put the nose down far to low for the heads angle. So the outline should not bend in the way it does.
So basically think about the borders of the shape you can see are, rather then where you know it begins.
*coughs* I'm not sure if that helped at all but I hoped it did... somehow.
