School?

Unread postby Endesu » Fri Jun 09, 2006 3:23 pm

Just out of curiosity, how is everyone faring as far as school goes?

Currently, I'm at Sophomore status at UAH. Cumulative GPA of 2.7, something I need to work on a bit. Aiming for a major in Psych, minor in English.

Dan: Yeah, you've changed a lot too, into an old man! I went to see the devil, now it's your turn!
Curtis: Oh, my pupil, so tenacious of life, guess I have to kill you again.
Dan: Shut up, before you run out of breath!
Curtis: I got rid of those smiles, there's no one left to disturb our game. Just you, and me.
Dan: Sounds fair, 'cuz I hate holding back, even for an old fart like yourself.
Curtis: Talk all you want, I won't need six bullets for you.
Dan: Or four for you.

I graduated, barely. Gave a speech at the ceremony, which everyone loved, and is highly regarded as the high point of the two-hour long snooze-fest.

You can tell which I'm more proud of :D

Finishing junior year of high school in twelve days. GPA last year was a 3.58, and I dunno what it is now, but I know I'm doing worse in the classes that count (i.e. not band or gym) than last year.
-_-___-___-___-_-

I'm currently at Junior status at University of Southern Indiana. If I've made at least a C in the summer class I just finished and make at least a C in the class that begins next week, I'll be a Senior.

I can't access my GPA right now because they make you wait a week after the last day of a class before you can see your grades. I believe I'm somewhere around 2.5 right now, though.

In the past I've been so close to flunking out that mere points on a final exam made the difference, but I haven't finished with anything less than a B in any class I've taken so far since then. I have dropped a few classes, though, which is why I'm taking these two summer courses right now.

Back in High School, I always carried at least a 3.0. Unfortunately, my drive seem to have diminished since then. I'd really rather go into the video game industry than the accounting field, but I don't really see any way into that from where I am now except by ammassing a ton of money on my own. I don't want to borrow it because I *hate* debt. Even the $5000 I'm in debt right now bothers me.

If I've made at least a C in the class I just took, I'll also have an associate degree in Business. I'll be going on for a Bachelor of Accounting and Public Service after that. Even though I've already been in college for four years, it's going to take at least until winter of next year for me to get that since I haven't finished the whole 15 hours every semester so far. Also, I suck at brevity.

Finished junior year at Duke, GPA just went over the 3.0 mark, but with a major GPA in classical studies of 3.6. So I'm pretty happy.

Finished my junior year at SUNY Potsdam. GPA something like 2.7, major in Theatre, minor in Design for the Stage. Might be graduating next year, who knows. I'm also currently designing a staging of "As You Like It" in Vermont this summer. Weee!

Uh, well...

I'm not entirely sure of my overall GPA, but it's definitely in the >3.5 range.

So far I have a 4.0 for my first 7 college courses (4 credit hours each, total 28).

Majoring in computer science, may switch to Game Design this fall when the major for it is finalized. As it is, planning to work on getting a minor in it.

Just finished junior year of highschool. Weighted GPA of 4.somethingorother, last I checked. Probably have an unweighted of 3.0, after that slaughter of a finals week.

Looking at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obisbo, California. But, judging from my last one, my SAT math is just barely qualifiable by ten points.

No, I did not pop out of lurkdom just to post my grades. Really.

I dropped out of college some two or three years ago, around the time of my bipolar diagnosis. I'm currently aiming for employment!
