Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

Ah, the wonderful play, written by Tom Stoppard. In my opinion, easily the best piece of modernist humor to date. Beats out "Waiting for Godot", certainly. As some of you may know, it was made into a movie (screenplay written and directed by Tom Stoppard, so it's pretty accurate to the original play). Well...

...it's FINALLY coming to DVD!

Finally, I'll have a chance to get a legit DVD of it, which has me kind of excited, despite the fact that I already have a bootleg Korean DVD of it. I don't suppose anyone ELSE is jumping right on this?

I used to think highly of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead until I had an English teacher who forced us to watch it in class and stopped the film every time there was something she thought should be explained, i.e. every two or three minutes. That horrid experience crushed my liking of the film, and thus the play as well.
[---------------------------]

Random R&G are Dead note--last weekend my old high school performed the play, and I happened to be in town, so I dropped by to see it. Excellent performance as far as acting goes, and I have to say that I enjoyed the play itself, as well.
