Final Fantasy IIIj needs an update. Badly. I want to own a legal copy of it, one that I'll actually be able to play and not pay out the nose for. :(

Takorou: Look here. It's a word used to refer to everyone: old, young, man, and woman. "Rou-nyaku-nan-nyo". But you would say "rou-nyaku-nan-nyo-nyo". Here's another one. In Italy, there's a region called Bologna. You would say, "Bologna-nyo". In Buddhism, there's a word called "nyorai", but you'd say "nyorai-nyo". Could you stop saying, "nyo"?
Dejiko: No-nyo. I don't plan to stop-nyo. Go somewhere else-nyo.

FF5 wasn't as fun to me, though I still liked it. The music wasn't as neat. Etc, etc.

I'm unfortunately the kind of punk who wants an original cartridge form of a game. In FF3's case, that's all but impossible, given how old it is. :(

Y'know, at this point, I'd be happy with a GBA or DS port of ANY FF, given their renewed relationship with Big N. If Golden Sun is any indication, they could do it with ease...
--------------------

Well, did you pick up Final Fantasy 1-2 advance? I have the wonderswan version of those two games, and the updates are wonderful. However, I heard they added two new dungeons for the GBA version.

although, I was never a fan of 2. It was like Final Fantasy 1, where you basically were free to wander wherever, but it lacked levels, which kind of made the game boring for me. And the "word rememberance" system was not only annoying a pointless, but a bitch to deal with in japanese.
---------------

I hate FF2. Hate it. It should've stayed in the distant fog of the past.

Yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it was a "miss".
---------------

Well, that whole "Characters" and "people who leave and rejoin your party" thing was kinda neat.
[---------------------------]

Dude, you really liked that? I found it so frustrating to buy a guy and deck him out with all sort of armor only to find that he left my party after the next dungeon, to never return, taking all the armor in tow with him. You would never get him back, so all that experience went to waste. I soon learned to just rob all the guys who joined, and then kill them and leave them dead so that my guys would get pumped up faster. I dunno, it did have a slightly more "detailed" storyline than FF1, but it was still freaking messed up.
---------------
