Exactly how fucked over is my computer? It recently came down with SOMETHING, and refuses to start, even in safe mode. Whenever I try, I get a blue screen saying something along these lines...

UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

*Troubleshooting stuff here about turning off BIOS information, which I cannot do because I cannot access anything*

Technica Info
*** STOP:0x000000ED (C0X80ESE960, 0XC0000006, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)

Right now, I'm thinking along the lines of 'Shadowbiscuit in a locked room with Omar' fucked. Someone who actually knows what this means please tell me. >_>

....Okay, DW?

Unmountable boot volume. I've seen that before.

There you go. It's for a laptop, but it might work. <p><Chat> <Matto says, "What's up?"

Sage, thats what I had about a half year ago when I was unable to get on the computer for two weeks. Phone the help peoples, tell 'em the error numbers, and they'll send you a CD to fix it.

Edit! - In case you're wondering what it is, exactly...

I'm fairly sure it has something to do with one of the starty files being fragmented, and thusly unable to be set together right. Yeah, defragment your computer as soon as you fix the problem.

Silly Trevor, BIOS information comes before it tries to boot from any drives!

Not that it helps you at all, but... <p>

I get that problem whenever I try to turn on my computer, but for some reason pressing the reset button gets it to work, this probably won't help, but if you haven't already, give it a try.
