Actually, the diffrence between a bmp and a jpeg is that a bmp takes a picture and takes each and every pixel and decides what color each one is from a list of nintey gazillion colors.

Jpegs are lazy fucks that say: "Okay, these twenty different shades of yellow/blue/mauve all look really freaking similar. I'ma make them all the same now."

That's why jpegs are perfered for bandwidth unfriendly hosts such as geocitties. THAT HAS BEEN TODAYS LESSON ON PHOTOEDITING. NOW GIVE ME A DOLLAR. <p>
