I am literally drowning in Game Boy games. It is a little pointy.

Jobs are great! They give you money for doin' stuff! Now if only we could figure out how to take "doin' stuff" out of the equation...
Anime is kind of like fish in that it is better the less "fishy" it is.

No, the key is to manage to replace it with "doin' stuff you enjoy doin' anyway". I mean, your way means becoming a socialite, and who wants that? :O

Or, alternately, coming to the office and desperately attempting to find ways to spend 7.5 hours. Every day.

Which is best visualized as a vicious, lazy, profoundly ignorant, perpetually hungry organism craving the warm god-flesh of the anointed. Personally I like to imagine something the size of a baby hippo, the color of a week-old boiled potato, that lives by itself, in the dark, in a double-wide on the outskirts of Topeka. It's covered with eyes and it sweats constantly. The sweat runs into those eyes and makes them sting. It has no mouth, Laney, no genitals, and can only express its mute extremes of murderous rage and infantile desire by changing the channels on a universal remote. Or by voting in presidential elections."

I dunno, man, being a socialite kind of sounds awesome. Without the threat of financial insecurity you'd be free to do what you enjoy regardless of whether you can find a way to get paid for it.

At least in theory. I'm sure the overwhelming guilt of privilege would probably drive me insane if I had that kind of money.

At a two-day conservatorship trial in Los Angeles in June 2009, one of Falk's personal physicians, Dr. Stephen Read, reported Falk rapidly slipped into dementia after a series of dental operations in 2007.[44] Dr. Read said it was unclear whether Falk's condition had worsened as a result of anesthesia or some other reaction to the operations. He went on to add that Falk's condition was so bad he could no longer remember the character of Columbo. Shera Danese Falk was appointed as her husband's conservator.

Priam, your job sounds awesome. But I'm sure that's only green grass syndrome. It's kind of scary to be faced with the thought of having to do 8 hours of busy work every day, so having downtime seems better as an alternative. Or even worse, doing 8 hours of labor...

Hell, I'd take 8 hours of labor over being required to come in to the office for no reason. I can do nothing from the comfort of my home, and with greater efficiency, at that! Alternately, I'd have no problem coming in to the office if I was actually getting something done, or if someone legitimately needed me to be there. As it is, I've begun routinely calling my mandatory office trips "penance."

I know what Priam does, and I've been to that office. Quite a bit.

You couldn't pay me to stay there.
