What brings out the manly (or womanly... 'though I would see it fit to argue that women can also wield the tears of manliness, if they so wish) eyefluids in you? Have you stumbled upon something that has done that?

While somewhat man sob-worthy, this was posted to illustrate the idea of this thread.

Now let's get weepin'

"You're the Inspiration" on Elite Beat Agents.

Oh, and "It's a Wonderful Life." Every god damn time.

It's sweet, but not tear jerky for me. Not a fan of StarWars anyway. :P

Things that've made me cry (Or, at least, that I can remember):

Grave of the Fireflies

A certain scene near the end of the movie 'AI'.

The Christmas stage on Elite Beat Agents.

Spoiler:
Wolfwood's death in Trigun.

Yes, the ending scene in Titanic made me shed some tears.

And this short Spider man comic about a girl named Leah.

I think back on some of them and wonder why I did cry, but I'm sure I'd do it again if I went back to watch them.
Grave of the Fireflies is still one of those movies where I just think back on and get misty eye'd. And I've only seen it once. I can, in theory, rewatch it since I have it downloaded on my computer.. but gawd, I don't want to cry like a little girl anytime soon.

We3. Those tears are made all the manlier by the fact that they did not, in fact, come out. But they were there.

Priam's mention of We3 shall not go unnoticed.

I get teary whenever any arrangement of "Bridge Crossing Theme" from FF1 plays. In fact, playing FF Origins, I nearly cried hearing it as I crossed the bridge to Pravoka. No sound is more reminescent of my childhood, especially considering the number of times we restarted our game on my FF1 cart.

I can play that song on guitar, so I can make you cry at will. This is good to know!

Those melodramatic Korean life insurance commercials that were posted hereabouts some time ago were impressively poignant. I got misty during a couple of those.

I imagine if I spent more time with Lost Odyssey, it might actually be able to jerk out a tear or two. Some really good writing in that game.
