Nope. Goin' to Barbados in December, can't spare the dough. Have fun, though.

Doubtful, unless individuals can convince me otherwise, which is doubtful.
Anime is kind of like fish in that it is better the less "fishy" it is.

Same. I may consider going if we can get the group to do it again this year.

Too far away with not enough pull. As awesome as Sugoicon is, I'm not actually terribly interested in anime conventions beyond the dealer's room and artist alley. SC is also inconveniently timed; I'd like to be doing something special for my birthday, but not with a large group of folks. I hold much more interest in the Ren Faire, but the distance and travel costs are the deterring factors there.

I may be going to the Renaissance Faire, though it would be largely due to a process not far from 'by accident.'
"You haven't told me what I'm looking for."
"Anything that might be of interest to Slitscan. Which is to say, anything that might be of interest to Slitscan's audience. Which is best visualized as a vicious, lazy, profoundly ignorant, perpetually hungry organism craving the warm god-flesh of the anointed. Personally I like to imagine something the size of a baby hippo, the color of a week-old boiled potato, that lives by itself, in the dark, in a double-wide on the outskirts of Topeka. It's covered with eyes and it sweats constantly. The sweat runs into those eyes and makes them sting. It has no mouth, Laney, no genitals, and can only express its mute extremes of murderous rage and infantile desire by changing the channels on a universal remote. Or by voting in presidential elections."

I possibly could go to the renfair and sugoicon, provided that they're in the summer, and I can take paid time off from my new job at Borders ( :D ). MORE DETAILS AT 11.
