The future of warfare has come

Unread postby Animala » Thu Jul 12, 2007 4:19 pm

Read this article from the BBC

Go on. Read it. I'll wait for you.

What you see is the future of warfare.

The whole of military strategy will have to be adjusted to face the new power of this badger-based onslaught. The entire balance of power in Europe has shifted suddenly, and we are teetering on the edge of another era of global strife. It is only general British good will and frequent tea breaks that prevent them from ruthlessly crushing all who stand in their way.

And if they wait too long, their advantage will fade. Although the British have the upper appendage for now, rest assured that other nations will not be far behind. Will we see elite KGBadgers silently assassinating old enemies? Will there be badgers painting school houses in Iraq?

Only time will tell.

But what sort of mind dreamed up this new weapon? What twisted genius brought this to pass?

Friends, I give you the architects of our future.

May God have mercy on us all.

Obviously, the solution is to placate them with Mushrooms while preparing an appropriate counter offensive: Dropping hundreds of Burmese Pythons on the battlefield.

You fools, if we keep going on this way, soon we'll be dropping elephants on each other, then whales, then Giant Whales, until we get bigger and bigger animals, until we start dropping turtles the size of Great A'Tuin on each other, destroying everything we hold dear!! (like the actual planet itself)

Sounds like a bad-guy-who-eventually-becomes-a-good-guy from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
