RPGWW Podcast

Unread postby Nekogami » Mon Jun 25, 2007 7:26 pm

Wow, two threads in one day.

Anyway, what would a RPGWW podcast be like? Mr. Taiar has already stated that he'd like a segment of complete silence in his name. I think it'd be funny personally, and random.

Anime convention information would be fun. Upcoming RPs, requests for people to get off ther humps and post, art requests...*shrug* It'll never happen but... I just wanted to throw the idea out there since it's in my head.

Now it's out of my head.

Short in-character skits could be fun.

I'd be with that. Also, uh...

...I could have long and drawn-out system lectures! Or something.

...hey, if there could be an extent of silence, then there can be system lectures.

As to the recording of it, it's as simple as recording an MP3 file. As to the way you have people's computers download them as soon as they're done, I think that involves RSS somehow...

I think all we really need to do is leave a mic on whenever the OH crew is hanging out at Priam's place.
Anime is kind of like fish in that it is better the less "fishy" it is.

I demand Alex re-enact his visit to America, with the complaining about the blue sky, the luke warm pools, and how we Americans took the 'i' out of aluminium, etc.

That was great.
We could give Judo his own segment. But I'm sure only the OH collective would enjoy it the most. :(

It would work, if we had Judo there but not alone.

Which is best visualized as a vicious, lazy, profoundly ignorant, perpetually hungry organism craving the warm god-flesh of the anointed. Personally I like to imagine something the size of a baby hippo, the color of a week-old boiled potato, that lives by itself, in the dark, in a double-wide on the outskirts of Topeka. It's covered with eyes and it sweats constantly. The sweat runs into those eyes and makes them sting. It has no mouth, Laney, no genitals, and can only express its mute extremes of murderous rage and infantile desire by changing the channels on a universal remote. Or by voting in presidential elections."

I agree with Priam. Talking into a microphone is always odd, but having 2 or more people talking crap with a mic about is a general recipe for awesome. Provided the people don't suck, which Judo and the OH crew certainly don't.

Judo and I can have a segment. We'll do nothing but ramble about blue milk for half an hour while Shini screams in impotent rage at suffering such discussion to continue.

Blue milk.

The obvious question of "let's do this" is "who, and how?"

Two things:

1) *pokes Bes repeatedly for pointing this out* >=(

2) I'll volunteer my horrible attempts at Dan & Stephan as brits. Or anyone who needs a male, but effeminate sounding voice. *damns perkyness*

I second the who and how. I have Audacity and a mic but it'd be pretty boring if it was just me chatting. We need like....a place to submit sound files and then they could be assembled.

We can record conversations had over Ventrilo, too, I think. I know Bes has a server on his computer; we've used it for StarCraft.

This does sound hilarious. You could even get a few people to hook up on skype and have a conversation, as long as there would be someway to record it.
