Well, to me it is like this:
First he did the PPGD, which basically is a "let's see how many popular characters can we cram into one comic" and it worked! one didn't care about how OOC some of them were, one just waited to see who would show up next and see the battles even if the story made little or no sense! it was just a massive character clustefuck and the masses were amused! huzzah!
Then, he stopped and started GT, which was more of the same, but, to me, it didn't work repeating the idea, just cramming lots of characters into one thing wasn't going to make as much impact again, plus, his attempts at making a more "serious" story failed, as did the whole poems, drama and attempts at injecting controversy. Plus im so sick of all this people glorifying Mandy so much, and even if he was known for making characters OOC, this was too much.
PPGD -> not to be taken seriously.
GT -> HE wanted us to take it seriously.
Then, He stopped again! Huzzah! and what's better, he started using ORIGINAL CHARACTERS, which eliminates any problem his past projects had, he only needs some time to make this new characters as loved as the ones he took from cartoons which shouldn't be a big problem taking on account the massive fan base he built.
so yeah, basically, it was the lack of originality and weak drama what made me hate GT.
