I am posting here on the collective's new Wii! I AM OBLIGATED TO POST THIS MUNDANE SHIT MUCH LIKE A NEW CAMERA OWNER IS OBLIGATED TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE MOST BORING CRAP.
Man, it's hard to type with any semblance of speed on this thing. I wonder if a keyboard peripheral is in the works...

Oh, the wit!
The Wii message board does have this sort of neat word recognition tool that you can use to speed up the typing process, but I haven't messed with the Internet Channel much. You may have notcied I don't even have it on my channels list.

Both the Wii and PS3 browsers have word recognition functions like that. It's pretty useful, but I've not yet found if the Wii browser can memorize frequently typed terms, like usernames and site addresses. The PS3 browser can, but my consoles are both so close to the laptop it's not really worth it. I suspect most people are in similar situations.
Perhaps I'd learn some decent uses for the Wii browser if I actually plugged the damn thing back in, but I haven't even opened the box since graduation. It's been gathering dust for two weeks, yikes.
