1 had....close to no bloody violence, if memory serves. 2 had a stuff that's pretty soft by today's standards. Didn't watch all of 3 (though if memory serves he's working with the Taliban, hahaha), but I'm fairly sure it's the same level as 2.

Certainly no decapitations, tearing out of throats and disemboweling, that's for sure.

The old ones were violent, showing blood and wounds and death, but not THAT violent. One of those guys in that trailer got gibbed/jibbed! Guess we've come further in special effects and people are more used to ultra-violent movies. I know I am.
