Ohio-area RPGWWers Cinco de Mayo shindig!

Unread postby evilkillerpoptarts » Fri Apr 27, 2007 11:11 pm

I got the day off! So, what are we doing, where at, and when? There's some cool stuff in Cincy to do...

And I thought I'd make a "Cinci de Mayo" pun, too. Hur hur.

I need more information, but that's the last day of my exams, and that means I can be in the area by the afternoon. So if someone tells me more precisely what we're doing and where... IM might be appropriate?

Wow. JUST after finals are over, too! ...I'll have to see. I'd love to at least try to go, but I can't guarantee anything. Information about what and where and when and who and...well, already know why...would be great.

Yeah, I think Brian and I are going to try and be there as well, but if there's information to be had, it would be awesome if it were in the thread, because I don't know either! *sweatdrop*

According to Brian, Priam said that if we show up at his place, somebody will be there. That's all the planning that's apparently been done. More than that with RPGWWers is a little like herding cats.

So maybe something will be laid out once people are together.

Herding cats is easy, though. All you need is food.

Which is best visualized as a vicious, lazy, profoundly ignorant, perpetually hungry organism craving the warm god-flesh of the anointed. Personally I like to imagine something the size of a baby hippo, the color of a week-old boiled potato, that lives by itself, in the dark, in a double-wide on the outskirts of Topeka. It's covered with eyes and it sweats constantly. The sweat runs into those eyes and makes them sting. It has no mouth, Laney, no genitals, and can only express its mute extremes of murderous rage and infantile desire by changing the channels on a universal remote. Or by voting in presidential elections."

I think everyone has been notified who has a significant probability of being in attendance, but just in case there has been an oversight, the plan has been formed, such that we are to convene at Shini's, Neb's, and my condo sometime between the hours of 3 PM and 5 PM, and more or less work it on the fly from there. Possibilities include but are not limited to the festival at WPAFB and exploitation of Free Comic Day at local outlets.

If you want in and don't know the way, drop Neb, Shini, or myself an IM, and we'll provide the informations! SEE YOU CYBERSPACE COWBOYS

edit: Oh, hey. Does anyone who will be there have a camera of some sort? TO IMMORTALIZE THE OCCASION?

I can probably borrow Michelle's. I'll ask her in the morning, when she gets home from work. (She's a nurse, you perverts.)

I have a digital camera, but its batteries are sadly deceased.

Yes! If/when we do this again, though, I'm investing in more chairs. *sage nod*
