After three long years of trying, I've finally been accepted into my dream college... Willamette University in Salem, OR. As a plus, I get free tuition because my mom works there! I cried a little bit, and now I'm just savoring the warm feeling I have.

I'm interested in their English program. Many people have told me it's a bad program, but I'm excellent in most aspects of the English curriculum, and I'm pretty sure they're making a big deal out of nothing. Maybe with a degree I could become a news reporter or an author or something.

Congratulations, and don't let them sciency types tell you that an English degree is worth the same amount as toilet paper (heard it so many times). It's what you make of it that matters.
