So, I'm browsing stuff on IGN, and notice this little tidbit of news:

"March 13, 2007 - Namco Bandai confirmed with IGN today that the latest installment of its popular RPG franchise, Tales of the World, would be coming out in North America this summer."

Said game is similar to Tales of Symphonia and Abyss, and features cameos from characters in nearly all the Tales games.

Currently, I do not have a PSP.

This is severely tempting me into getting one.

On the flipside, I haven't touched, or beaten Final Fantasy 12 in months.

...I don't think I can call myself "FF" Fanatic in good conscience anymore.

I would highly recommend checking out what other goodies you'd want on the PSP before buying one. I hear MGS: Portable Ops is a winner! Anyway, buying a system for one game is a bit iffy in my books, though that does depend on price. And my experience with the Tales games (read: Symphonia, slowly going through it) are all good.

Guessing a good bit of piracy is out of the question?

Edit: Just noticed new name, har. :D

My interest in the PSP is limited to the FFT remake and the rerelease of Suikoden I+II, personally. Not enough to warrant a purchase, especially since they're both ports/remakes.

Couldn't you have just asked an admin to change your name? :D

That Tales Of World sounds awsome. Make my own character. Ooooh.
I currently have Tales of Eternia, Breath of Fire 3 and Valkyrie Profile all for my PSP.
Good stuff.
Tales of World shall be mine!

Oooh God! Tales-of-Gasum

Edit again:
Okay so I'm just reacting cause I've only just seen it but... The horror of making a team will befall me again! Almost Every Tales of Game does it! Lets give you all these cool interesting characters.. no choose only FOUR (three here) of them for your team!
DAMN DAMN DAMN!
I'm meant to choose between Stahn, Rutee, Reid, Arche, Lloyd and all those others? Why!? WWWHHHYYYYYYYY!?!?!?!!?
Damn I wish one Tales of game would just let me have everyone there in a battle.

PSP does have that remake of Gitaroo Man, which is a pretty cool thing for it to have.
Anime is kind of like fish in that it is better the less "fishy" it is.

The PSP does have a port of formerly Saturn-exclusive Princess Crown, which has roused my interest in it quite a bit.

There's also Silent Hill: 0rigins, though the word on that hasn't been good.

In the news of games which are not ports or remakes (to my knowledge), I hear Loco Roco is pretty damn entertaining. There's also the PSP exclusive Katamari game (dunno about its quality) and Lumines (which I've heard good of, as well).

Though I've never played the game.. Loco Rocco has an awesome soundtrack.

Edit: Since Tai asked me for it not too long ago.. here's the OST. http://www.sendspace.com/file/y3w0r6
