...I liked Troy better.
Troy at least had characterization spread between massive fighting, to the point where I actually cared about the people. And there were no freaks of nature fighting in war like it was LotR. Seriously. If they had gotten rid of the random grotesque enemies, I'd have actually liked the movie, since I think the basis of 300 men killing several thousand is awesome in itself,
...Also, Xerxes was like... 8 feet tall. I get that he was supposed to be psycho awesome... but it was crap like that that completely made me do a wtf moment at the movies. They put so much attention to the enemies being everything asian that it made me just dislike how it was presented.
But as to wether I'd watch it again would likely be in some manner where I wouldn't have to pay to watch it, or buy it at a price where I'd pay about what I did to go to the theatre (which was 3.50, due to college movie night)
