Bah, everyone knows Final Fantasy 4 Extreme Mega Hyper Dimension X Alpha Omega OMG was the definitive entry in the series.
Those awesome, 4 bit graphics. My God, the things you could do with black, white and two shades of grey. And the music, damn, I've never heard someone compose such moving tunes as *BEEP* *BEEP BEEP* *BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Still brings a tear to my eye it does. Who needs decent graphics or sound that doesn't make my ears bleed after hearing it for 10 minutes.
