SO.

I typed up a big long thing. It was complete once, but then I remembered I forgot stuff. And then...

Well, at any rate.

I needs the help.

You see, my memory is shit. I don't remember everyone involved in the ADV! raid, for one--especially ADV!side! Any corrections, as well, would be neat, as well as a short written something on the wiki.

Also, people are welcome to go inside the thing and add internal links, or images and such.

Altho im surprised of no metion of the "this is becoming strange" thread, maybe it was not that important, but that was like proto-kotokis bar and inn shenanigans.

I seem to recall that there was some kind of inter-forum altercation going on when I first showed up (24 Nov 2003, according to my old account), but it didn't seem to be of a friendly variety. As I understood it, the other forum had done something in the way of spam-attacking RPGWW, then RPGWW spam-attacked it back, and then there was a thread with some arguing and, finally, peacemaking. In the end, I believe the event was let go as a botched attempt at forming inter-forum relations.

I don't know how major of an event it would be considered, but it seems like it was more of a "real" war than the one with ADV!, so it might be worth mentioning.

Was it that Pewfell Porfingles comic guy? Apparently his comic really took off sometime the next year.

In 2003, we'd have been in the ezB forums, and the ADV raid started/ended on UBB (though there was definitely some arguing and peacemaking involved).

I'm not entirely sure I remember any raids during the ezB forums...? Wait...yeah, I think you're right. Damn, I don't remember much about it, though.

Yeah, Pewfell was the guy, or at least it was his forum. Actually, I think the initial raid was instigated by someone called Old Man, with Pewfell not becoming involved until after RPGWW's response, but I'm not sure about that.

All of the people who 'raided' were characters in his comic, I recall.

I don't recall well enough about that to write about it in the same depth I've tried to maintain with the rest of the stuff.

I know I joined ADV! in November of 2002... And if E-Mouse or Bob were involved in said raids, I was totally there.

I actually don't remember you being around during the original ADV! war, EKP, though I could be wrong. I think you may have actually showed up on the ADV! forum after I did, which suggests to me that it was a bit afterwards.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was before EKP's time, as well--the time stamps on the archives say that the raid occurred in Dec 2001.

Man, that was a lot of fun. Man, my RP paradigm was way different from its current state. Man.

Ah well. I totally wasn't there, then.

Either way, I don't remember it, so that's okay by me!
