Anime!

Unread postby Ark » Wed Feb 07, 2007 3:53 pm

Well I watch a lot of anime via the power of torrents so here's four of the ones I'm mostly watching now for your viewing pleasure, should you download them and all.

Ghost Hunt
A semi serious spooky anime, with a fair amount of non serious moments as well. It follows the activities of Naru-chan (A very Narcasisstic handsome boy I.E. Naru-chan) who runs a Ghost Hunting office despite only being 17 years old. I love the characters in this, including the blonde haired relaxed rocker Monk and the stories are pretty interesting as well. Each story normally takes about 3 episodes to wrap up. Good stuff.

Nodame Cantabile
A highly recommended comedy about music and a complete space case of a girl who seems to be able to recite any music she hears, even if by her own unique style. The story mostly seems to centre around a sarcastic collegue syudent who so happens to want to be a composer but is deathly afraid of flying in a plane, so can't go to Europe to fulfil his dream. Totally awsome and well worth a watch.

Mamoru Megami
What happens when an all powerful Witch of a highly pretious school falls in love with the green haired freshman? Stuff that may or may not make you laugh. Its a brains off anime that isn't trying to do anything partically new but isn't offensive in any way either - unless your naturally against anime anywho.

Manabi Straight
Only seen the first episode but it was enough. New student causes havok in a school. Set in the future where the birth rate is very low, school life has changed dramatically, yet here comes Manabi to stir things up.
This is
cute. This is very cute. If cute was a weapon America would be charging at Japan now talking of dangerous armaments and such, or quaking in fear and just not messing.
I repeat, its
cute. Watch it!

Official Site

Personally this is just me sharing the anime I'm into at the moment. I'm doing because I've watched some great shows in the past only that half a year later or longer people are only beginning to watch it or speak of it. Haru and Guu, Pani Poni Dash and 2x2 Shinobu to name a few. So now I'm trying to remember to share them ASAP.

Plus I just felt like sharing.

Animu topic!

Say, Cho, since you know your Animu, have you seen Kemonozume? And if so, can you tell me how it is, in terms of plotline, violence, overall quality, etc?

I'm not quite sure why, but from what little I've seen, I absolutely love the... eccentric art style the series has going on.

Ah, the bitter sting of disappointment!

This means you need to get to watching the series, then, mister.
