Since I'm nibbling on alittle steak, I wonder how everyone else likes theirs.

Personally, I like mine a bit rare in the middle. Makes it all nice and juicy.

Rare to medium rare.

Consider that this is one of my favorite foods.

More towards the medium rare. Otherwise the meat gets rather tough and chewy

I like the blood to come pouring out after every bite...

As for steak, rare is good.

Medium Rare/raw these days.
If I wanted to raw I'd go out to the field and do it the old proper way. however I like my steaks cooked but not enough to take out that flavor.

when I was a kid I prefured them Well done, if only because I didn't want the bloody juices on my other bits of food. Now I welcome it!

Well done. I like to make sure my meat's dead before eating it.

Somewhere around the Medium to Well Done range is best. Anything more or less never tastes good.

A well done steak is optimal for me; it's almost like I'm crunching bones. Harken back to the age of stone, my friends!

I like mine medium well. Cooked enough that it's not gross, but still juicy. Juuuuuuuust right.

How long do they have to cook it for that to happen?

This poll seriously needs a "medium well" option. I don't like my steak squishy, but I don't want it to be like leather either.
Anime is kind of like fish in that it is better the less "fishy" it is.

This poll needs a "still mooing" option for those of us who do it continental style. Vive les Francaise and their love of eating things that are still breathing!

I like my steak like I like my women- A little tough, a little chewy, and covered in A1 sauce.

Priam truly has high hopes for all of us.

Also, I was not aware you could retroactively add things to polls! That's pretty cool.

There is no "however it's damn well served to me" option.

I'm not picky.
I think boobs are the lesser of two evils. - Inverse (Pervy)
Dammit, Dan, I'm not dating a damn NPC! - OOC Will (Will Baseton)
Of course! Anything worth doing is worth doing completely wrong! - Travis English
Ultimately, wizards and clerics don't say, "Gee, I want to become a lich because weapons hurt less and I don't have to worry about being backstabbed; that whole 'eternal life' thing is just a fringe benefit."-Darklion
But this one time I killed a walrus with my bare hands, and I suddenly understood spherical coordinates. - KnightsofSquare
Also, when you've worked a 36-hour shift as an intern you too just might pour yourself a catful of coffee and sit down to cuddle with your travel mug. -eirehound

Yeah, but when you order a steak, they always ask you what you want. Do you just tell them to surprise you?

...I should start doing that.

I like my steaks huge. The bigger the better. My favorite is the 24 oz. prime rib at the Charlie Brown's near my house. I usually order it medium, but that part doesn't matter that much to me.

Yeah. Medium is usually my request. Whether it's "medium rare" or "medium well", I don't know.

Yay for being cryptic!!

The fact that no one knew of this on the board and/or no one decided to post it in response to the question surprises me incredibly. So I will post.

The entirety of the song boils down to them shouting...

"ESS TEE EE AY KAY!!" over and over until about the middle, where they change it up with...

"How would you like cook your Steak?" and follow that with "MEEEDIUM RAAARE!!!" until about...it's over and you feel your usefulness as a human being drift away. It's good clean entertainment for everyone though.

So those really were the lyrics? I just thought they weren't enunciating enough.
