How quickly do those links expire, anyway? I managed to get one before they all died again. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. OH EM GEE, double post.

The World Wide Web War is old news, but epic nonetheless, though I believe the following is worth linking:

A dramatic reading of a letter sent to the YTMND owner from Eric Bauman's daddy!

Holy hells, it's so funny to see that Murderize.com article again after at least 6 years. That site was like SA-lite, and that was the best thing from it.

Edit: And also Priam is correct.

Oh to the noes, another ytmnd link! I'm linking this one because the music is real funny.

(For those of you who don't watch TV, the guy in the picture is David Blaine, a magician/escape artist that recently tried to hold his breath for over 9 minutes on live television, but failed miserably and only made it to 7:08. This was after WEEKS of obnoxious hype commercials too.)

From what I understand, even if he had made it the full 9 minutes it wouldn't have counted, as they failed to get independant confirmation that he hadn't had pure oxygen to breathe in the last two hours, and the record under those conditions is actually closer to 15 minutes. :D <p><hr />

Idran is 100% correct. If I recall correctly, there weren't any official record judges watching the event either.

He also didn't make the record for staying submerged in water, I think.

Priam: I think everyone that's ever played Sonic games does that.

LDC's link goes against the Blue Skies Initiative and makes me sad :(

Bes's link makes me sad for another reason altogether.

Live Action...Bowser? (Koopa! Koopa!)

Mario...anime?

Edit: Now ruining your day (or making it better depending on your point of view) with Kingdom Hearts 2 related material.

I remember thinking that was pretty crappy even when it was first aired.

Ah, memories. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. It is a secret you have yet to grasp, although the first syllable has been spoken in a dream you cannot quite recall." --Unknown Armies</span></p>

The funniest thing about that link is that none of them had any idea. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. I think he means the Jeopardy question and none of the College students buzzing in.

Indeed! Its plantyness does not make it any less popular, and thus it is actually kind of strange that none of the college kids were clueful. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. So much for this being kate's thread.
Still rocks hard, though!

for all of you who are familiar with 4chan and who have watched nightmare city:

4chan city!

NSFW, and contains a brief show of furries (hence why it's NSFW). Then again, if you've been to 4chan enough times this shouldn't faze you at all. Everyone else: you have been warned.

Jean's link is awesome.

And I caught pretty much all of the 4chan memes.

... hooray for Speedycat! <p><hr />
<div style="text-align:center"><span style="font-size:xx-small;">Curtis: Dannyboy, look at you. You've changed considerably, into a badass, if I may.
Dan: Yeah, you've changed a lot too, into an old man! I went to see the devil, now it's your turn!
Curtis: Oh, my pupil, so tenacious of life, guess I have to kill you again.
Dan: Shut up, before you run out of breath!
Curtis: I got rid of those smiles, there's no one left to disturb our game. Just you, and me.
Dan: Sounds fair, 'cuz I hate holding back, even for an old fart like yourself.
Curtis: Talk all you want, I won't need six bullets for you.
Dan: Or four for you.</span>
