This article is actually kind of old, but I came across it today in physiology class when an odd thought about placenta milkshakes struck me and I had the urge to go looking to see if anyone else had the same idea.

I'm gonna have to second Brian on this one.

Holy WTF.

"Their rhetoric... You didn't put communists in his bed did you!" came Amber's indignant reply.

"Why not? All I had to do was open a gate to his bed and stick up a sign saying 'Hot virgin willing to make the ultimate sacrifice in the name of international socialist fraternity.'"

I thought that vegans were against animals suffering.

And I thought humans were animals.

And I thought giving birth HURT LIKE HELL.

... hypocrits. <.<

These vegetarians are nuts if they think that the placenta is not part of some amount of suffering. Also, I rank this up there with furry fetishists--anything taken too far can lead to really, really weird stuff. But hey, if it's what you dig and it isn't hurting anyone against their will, who am I to speak against it?
"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. Well, yes, but in the same sense as a cactus is a resource for a desperate man lost in the desert. What's inside is fine, but eating the whole thing? Not generally accepted or encouraged. It's the difference between drinking from a fountain and consuming the fountain itself.
"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. I'm just glad someone isn't letting the squishy parts go to waste. :D

This sounds like another verse to Eddie the Fetus if there ever was one.
[--------------------------------------------]
