As if you needed proof of how dumb people are.

People can't be that dumb. "This show makes it look like sticking your hand in an active garbage disposal will hurt like a bitch!"

I suppose I should probably also take this opportunity to ask if anyone else watches Heroes, and enjoys it as much as I do.

My favorite character is Hiro, especially when he *spoiler* at the end of the newest episode. <p>-_-___-___-___-_-

I think that you are broadcasting the wrong message, because the one I am getting is that the makers of the show were dumb for putting any named company in their work at all without first getting A) their consent, or B) their money for advertising their name on the air.

Lawsuits, though. It's the American way. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. it's a stupid reason for the lawsuit, is like if, i don't know, a gun brand sued the makers of the matrix for killing people on their movie with 'em.

also, technically you could hurt yourself with TOILET PAPER, or anything in the world if you do not use it properly, i fail to realize were they're hurting that company's image or whatever they had against the show. <p><div style="text-align:center">Image

I missed this particular episode, but I doubt that the show actually made a point of which specific company made the garbage disposal in question. In any case, if they wanted to sue for trademark infringement, then their claim should have been trademark infringement and not defamation. I doubt that they'll win a defamation case since a statement has to actually be untrue for it to be considered an act of defamation.

Also, I'm guessing from this article that NBC currently is allowed to broadcast images of the company's products since the purpose of the lawsuit is to restrict them from doing so.

Anyway, I've seen three episodes so far, starting from the one where the Japanese guy teleports to New York to the one where he's in Las Vegas. My only problem is that I can't seem to remember anybody's name. I haven't really decided on a favorite character yet, but the two Japanese guys and the cheerleader seem to have most of my interest.

Hiro Nakamura. He's easily my favourite, as he loves Chrono Trigger, and is a fan of Mirai Trunks. He's a man after my geeky lil heart. <p><hr />

Did you see the end of the episode where Peter is on the train? That was awesome. <p>-_-___-___-___-_-
