Birds sing, there's not a cloud in the sky, August 8th is a beautiful day. I see a bunch of hippies crying, yeah August 8th is a beautiful day. Like waking up from a real bad dream, suddenly everything is okay. The storm has passed, the Sun is shining, August 8th is a beautiful day. The air is sweet, Summer flowers bloomin', nowhere in sight is there anything grey. Feelings of joy are fillin' the street, yeah August 8th is a beautiful day. Like waking up from an awful dream, suddenly everything's looking good. There's been no permanent damage done, yeah August 8th came right when it should.

Poor Gus, working on a paper, staying home on such a beautiful day :(

Frankly, I prefer the Internets to getting shit on by birds. <p><hr />

More like screw living in the middle of a nowhere suburbia. At least there's stuff to do in cities. But I'm stuck in the middle of the bloody suburbs, so I get the right to say that going outside is vastly overrated. <p>"DO YOU THINK YOU CAN DEFEAT US? I live in the countryside, just starting to be turned into suburbia. It's maybe a five-minute walk to the bottom of our driveway alone.

So yeah. Outdoors doesn't work well for me. <p><hr />

*Shrug* Anyone who says there's nothing to do in suburbs is just finicky/lazy/un-adventurous, and they'd probably fare worse off in a city.

I'm a country boy and I love the countryside and hate cities with my apple stealing, running with the horses and from the farmer with a salt gun soul.

Trust me, I'd fare much better in a city. There's places within walking distance that I would have motivation to go to. For varying reasons. None of which have to do with plants, avians, or the large ball of nuclear fusion so many thousands of miles away from this planet. <p>"DO YOU THINK YOU CAN DEFEAT US? Oh yeah I forgot that all cities are shielded from nature and the Sun.

All cities just have a greater number and concentration of public indoor areas. If that is considered shielding from nature and the sun--which hurts my eyes anyway--so be it. <p>"DO YOU THINK YOU CAN DEFEAT US? OUR TREASURE MAY BE HEAVY, BUT WE ARE LIGHT AS WIND. Update on alcohol consumed: almost too much. There were pitchers involved at one point. Bowling alleys ftw!

>_>

I have to agree with Nama, honestly. I've lived in the farm-style life before.

It can be a bitch when the nearest cool person to talk to is a mile away, and next door you have...well, Zero remembers my neighbor.

Brr. Bad memories.

And while he's not on a farm, he's picky about people. (We've all seen this before.) While his standards of 'cool' are too limited, I can see why he'd prefer to stay indoors. :{

Every time I go to the city I annoy my friends by bothering them about how awesome their life is. Seriously, there's one stoplight in my entire town. If you've never lived in the country you can't imagine the boredom.

And Sprite needs to go eat at the Cosmic Cantina off 9th street. Went there last time I was in Durham, and it's like a Mexican exploding in your mouth. You know, in a good way. <p>-------

YOU'RE IN MY HEAD.

And yes, Cosmic does rock. They're quaesadeas (sp?) are great.
