My questions to you RPGWWers:

-=- Who the fuck are these bands?
-=- Would it be worth it?

Hawthorne Heights is an emo band I think, and Relient K is rap. So, essentially, it's trash and probably not worth it.

EDIT: I wikied Hawthorne Heights and their genre was "Post Hardcore."

That basically means there's a lot of crappy guitar noise and screaming/whining and probably guys dressed up in girly pants and makeup.

So, uh, stay away I guess, unless you really wanna see the wii.

EDIT 2: "Relient K is a Christian rock band formed in 1998 in Canton, Ohio and named after guitarist Matt Hoopes's Plymouth Reliant K car."

So it's like Nintendo is doing an experiment to see whether people want to see the Wii enough to endure the crap bands they signed.

I just hope the whole thing doesn't backfire and tell Nintendo that we really don't want to have the Wii (even though we do), when really we don't want to listen to the peice of shit bands.
-_-___-___-___-_-

Holy shit, Hawthorne Heights? That's crazy. The bass player/backup vocalist guy used to go to my church, and now he's like all famous and shit. That's so fucking weird. I mean, I don't watch MTV, none of the radio stations I listen to play current music, and I don't have spare money to spend on CDs, so I've never heard any of their music, but I still hear about them from time to time. Like in this topic, for example.

Crazy.

Also, when you're doing a public tour to promote your product, it doesn't matter what the indie kids on internet forums think, it matters what the public at large who might actually attend such an event thinks, and it just so happens that Hawthorne Heights is popular.

Image

Are you perhaps suggesting that Nintendo might be trying to reach out to newer/the largest demographics for their wares possible?

NEWS TO ME!

Sounds like bad business, personally.
