Oh, it had to be done sooner or later.
Post screenshots of any MMORPG you're playing!
If you're not playing on; feel free to post ones you've found that you thought were amusing or just neat looking!

I promised some people I'd screen Devilsaur next time I see him. This is the best I could do without him wanting to maul me into a bloody pulp.
DANG, I'M HUGE

I just got that hat, actually. Level 36 requirement. Unfortunately, it doesn't do anything for my casting stats, so I'll probably be replacing it with something else for party gear, but I intend to wear it decoratively for a while. Sadly, I don't get my trademark red mage's hat until level 60, and I'm only level 41. *cry*
So while the hat looks neat, I unfortunately spend a lot of time wearing hairpins (which have no real graphic) for the MP boost.

Meanwhile, in the merry land of WoW, plate helmets universally suck in appearance. Thankfully you can turn the graphic off.

I don't like 90% of the character/mob graphics in WoW anyway. One option would be to turn them all off, but at that point, I'm better off playing another game. =P
Not that I'm bashing WoW, and this is a screenshot thread, not a thread for MMORPG opinions. ^^;

Eh. The eyebrows look pretty cool on the hat, DM.
... although it looks like your hat is rather angry at being worn, I admit

*lurks*

Warning: "This dead guy is dead. Dang it, when I got this new computer I didn't move most of my image archive with it. Otherwise I'd have a ton of screenshots. Oh well! I think Pervy has seen on of my character looking like a confused Mexican tourist. That is, if there are any Mexican tourists out there.

This malboro-type mob would have bitten my head off and tentacle raped my corpse if I hadn't cast Sneak first before approaching it.
Actually, I could probably fight it and win, but it would take a lot of effort, despite the fact that I have something like 7 levels on it. The main problem is that the bats in the area, despite being uber-weak, aggro people that are sitting down to rest, which means I can't use the typical mage strategy of putting the creature to sleep, resting for MP, nuking right before it wakes up, and repeating the process.

The result of the epic battle that left my MP almost completely drained.
You can't tell, but the obnoxious bats in the edge of the screen were beating on me through the latter part of the fight. >_< Good thing they don't actually hit that hard!

Zem: I can take screens of plauge victims in the Western Plaugelands, but if you mean the one mentioned
here .. fraid I've never seen it myself.
Brian: Have any screens of your character in battle? ( I mean with weapons being swung and /or impaling a monster!).
I'm all curious on how it looks in FFXI.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. But it's only worth one frame of animation, so one still frame of me swinging my sword may not be that interesting. That shot actually looks kinda weird because that's the
end of the swing--the weapon has already hit the monster and I'm stretched out at a weird angle as a result of the momentum. o.o;
Also,
because it was too good not to cap. Those wacky programmers! That rabbit's dynamite!
Shots so far have all been taken in Ordelle's Caves, where I'm hunting for a key (and I got it a little bit ago) for a chest to get some race-specific armor. Really neat looking area.

You can't have a complete MMORPG without a vorpal/insane bunny of some kind.

There are actually a fair number of rabbit-type mobs, but those are the only ones called "Vorpal Bunnies." Also found in that dungeon are the slightly less difficult to kill "Blood Bunnies!"

The actual game, or one of your various 3rd party servers?

In the actual game, they were rare, and had to be conjured by a process of using a rare item in a certain place.
In my favored 3rd party server (That I quit because I made too many enemies and one of them was a moderator; he made my house fall down :( ), they were spawned en masse on Easter and many brave warriors died. From then on, a herd of them would pop up randomly.

Because I'm lazy and don't want to bother compressing things, images shall be stupidly large.
I don't know, it just seemed like a dramatic and ominous view at the time.
The magic of the Dressing Room shows me how absurdly rediculous undead Giantstalker gear.
EDIT: Also,
this here would probably be far less amusing with a character that isn't named "Sass".

I submit, for Jak's approval, the powerful
giant and the majestic
goobbue.
Wound up stealing these images from allakhazam since I was in class and bored.
Edit: Contrary to popular belief, there was no goobbue hiding in that 404.

Oh, and you can't forget the
tonberry. They're pretty high level critters, and I've never fought one. They also apparently have some move that deals 97% of your remaining health when it hits. Ow!

How very Tonberry.
I have nothing worthwhile to add.
