A: How I brought this up is not quite known. Soda vs. Pop thread?

B: How anyone can like Livewire is as far removed from me as East is from West. <p><hr />

Livewire tastes like carbonated orange jello. I could only drink the stuff once.
Never had Pitch Black, though. <p><div style="text-align:center"><hr />Image

Had "Code Red", didn't appreciate it. Still like the original... I've never tried Livewire or Pitch Black. Might go after that second one. <p><hr /><div style="text-align:center">Image</div></p>

Why isn't that one sort of Mountain Dew that's only available at Taco Bell up there? Not that I care for any Mountain Dew incarnation; just that I want to make sure this poll is done right.

I have not yet tried Pitch Black, so I can't really vote in this poll, but I can at least say that Code Red was not entirely terrible. <p><div style="text-align:center">Image</div></p>

Pitch Black is what grape soda always wanted to be.

Code Red is tasty.

Livewire is hated on by too many of you. Seriously, what the hell? It's orange soda!

Baja Blast is potable. I cannot say any more in its favor, however, because fountain drinks will always be inferior to their bottled and canned equivalents.

Pitch Black II is a pus-filled boil on the face of Pitch Black. Take that semi-sour shit out of there, assholes. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. Original Dew.

Unfortunately, I haven't tried any of the others. <p>-----

I can't have caffeine. Image I voted on flavor, but I have to have only diet decaf soda, so I doubt diet decaf Dew tastes ANYTHING like regular Dew, but since that's the only kind I've EVER found diet decaf in... obviously I don't know what the others taste like. <p><div style="text-align:center">Image</div></p>

I've had diet decaf Dew before, and honestly it's not all that different from regular Mt.D. You can't quite feel the sugar crystals floating in your mouth and wearing away at your teeth quite so much, but other than that it's very similar. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. Original, if you please.

Code Red tastes like cherry cough syrup, but worse, and it does nothing for your throat.

Livewire tastes like orange soda, sure, but they dumped about three hundred more cups of sugar in the batch, making it taste like orange-flavored syrup.

Pitch Black is weird. All I remember is that they were giving it out at some goofy promotion last year and we somehow wound up associating it with the Black Student Union, along with all of the other "black" things that Ashley collected.

I have never had Baja Blast, but Taco Bell is an excellent way to die of arterial sclerosis. I only eat it when it is too late for any other restaurants to be open, as a last resort. Chipotle is the superior Mexican fast-food joint! <p><hr /><div style="text-align:center">Image</div>

Baja Blast tastes like it looks. Blue. Blue and bad. I'm not joking. I don't touch that stuff, and question if it's really a "Mountain Dew" at all.

It's blue where you live? It looks more like a key-lime-pie green around here. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. It looks a light blue. No real green to it, from what I remembered. Mostly like the bluish color of this site.

Ohio has nasty Baja blast. :(((

I'm entertained that my comment of "I can't have caffeine" didn't garner the usual amazed and nigh-scandalized looks it gets me here at school. Most of my friends depend on it to live, so I'm practically a heathen. I wonder if Jesus drank Mountain Dew? <p><div style="text-align:center">Image</div></p>

I only drink any incarnation of Mountain Dew when there's no root beer, cream soda, Dr. Pepper, orange soda, good strawberry soda (Minute Maid comes to mind), or Sprite to be had. <p>-_-___-___-___-_-
