I enjoyed the first movie.

In the new cartoon, Shaggy and Scooby live in the 'bling'd-out mansion' (The WB's words, not mine) of Shaggy's Uncle Albert. They still have the Mystery Machine, but it can now transform into one of a number of transportation modes. Scooby Snacks are still available, but they are now infused with nano-technology that allows Scooby to fly or turn into a giant robot. Their mission is to keep the Scooby Snacks away from those who would use them for evil.

Thank you for your efforts, Nick! Without your bold emphasis, there would be no way for anyone to read that paragraph and understand it!

This cloud does have a silver lining, though! This is one of three shows lined up to replace the recently cancelled Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! on Kids WB. :O <p><hr />

And the fact the Scooby Doo isn't bad at all and there's nothing wrong with updating a show from the 70s to appeal to a modern audience. Scooby Doo has always been a kids show with contemporary music and funtimes.

Sorry Priam, but if I mention my dislike of flogging a dead franchise I will be singled out as hating mainstream media and trying to be indie and I just don't want that sort of hassle! :U

I am aware of that show; my niece loves it.

Which is why I don't care so much about kids shows, as I am not the demographic, but she is.

If it was a necromancer, we'd at least get Zombie-doo and his totally undead mystery crew. <p><hr /><div style="text-align:center">Image

Yes, because Cthulhu is new and original comedy material.

Anyway, if anyone needs to be reanimated, it's Vincent Price, so we can get some new 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. <p><hr />

Eh. Admittedly, I liked that the most of the series I had seen. Actually tried to go for a plot. Not too good of one, but still an actual plot. <p>"DO YOU THINK YOU CAN DEFEAT US? This just makes me wonder what the power move he'll use to beat all the enemy giant robot/monsters...

This sounds hilarious, I am so going to watch this.

What I find more troubling than Mecha-Scooby, though, is this:

"Monster Allergy -- This series, based on a comic book, features a 12-year-old boy who has the ability to see invisible, supernatural monsters."

Now THERE'S some innovation! <p>--------
"Well slap a dead fish on me and call me Molokidan!"</p>
