My new favorite old favorite game

Yeah, that's right. Of all the games I call my "old favorites", this is my new favorite (except maybe for Secret of Mana or something; this is definitely up there, at any rate).

It's hardcore awesome. It'll probably require DOSBox, which is a DOS emulator.

This game has multiplayer support (it's hard to work out with the emulator, but I figured it out and I can show other people how to do it too). I haven't tried multiplayer mode with another person yet, so I can't promise it'll work terribly well.

It would be good to use Radio Spleen (the TeamSpeak server) to communicate during this game, because the messaging system seems an afterthought.
-_-___-___-___-_-

I'd like to be one of the first people to note that I've actually heard of the Magic Carpet games.

I've just never played them!

Yeah, unfortunately the HotU server typically lags. A lot. You either have to be very lucky or very patient.

But why bother! Buy a real flying carpet! Those things are far much more fun and have comical expressive gestures as seen in the Aladin Movie.

In the meantime, I also recommend an old DOS game called Master of Magic. I don't really have a link at this time, but most people I've had play it liked it.

I've actually played that one.

I sucked at it since I was too nice and too much of a wuss to play against decent computers, but it was entertaining.
