Calling all Northeasterners. (Half-joking, Half-serious.)

For too long have we lived under the shadow of that Oh/Ky group.
They have long flaunted their geographical closeness as a sign of superiority.
I am saying that this is just not so.
Therefore I propose a new group be formed. One to stand proudly and declare that it has a bunch of relatively geographically close people in it.
They can't have all the fun. And if we Northeasterners unite, we can have some too.
I know that there are some folks from New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut. If there are any other states represented I'm sorry I didn't mention them. That's what this thread is for! Northeasterners, Stand up and announce yourself!
Clark! NY!

...on the one hand, do we really need to label ourselves from geographic location? Are we not all part of one big, united community that is the world of rpgw? =[
...but on the other hand, I do need to represent for my north east homies 9_<
FF! MA!

...Dude, New York is totally segregated. No one likes thinking that "Upstate" is part of New York.
...Nick? CNY?

Last I checked, the Rhy-OH/KY group is a fragmented, splintered remnant of its former self. Stop having delusions of our supposed grandeur. I don't even live there 3/4 of the year anymore. :(

Last I checked, this wasn't about you or the Oh/Ky group at all. It was about me seeing if there was a group of folks close enough to hang out with, even if only rarely. And also seeing how many folks live in my neck of the woods.
No reason for you to get all frowny faced. But of course, what is RPGWW without drama?
Some folks still hang out sometimes and fighting games and things. Isn't that what life is all about?

Hanging out with other forumites does rock. And I intend to do it more than the once in my life I already have. Baltimore is no one's home base, so it hardly even counts.

Me and Squintz both live at RPI at the moment (college in Troy; Albany area).
This means that Upstate NY has already one-upped NYC for concentration of RPGWWers.
Suck it. :(

I'm from Owosso, Michigan, go to school in Marion, Indiana, and am soon moving to Cincinnati, Ohio... Anybody remotely close to any of these three? Preferably the third?

If you don't know where that is, you lead a sad geographically-challenged life.
-------------------------

There's an anime con in Cincy in the summer... I think I'll try to coordinate a meal at my apartment for everyone. Can't argue with home-cooked food during a convention!
