If you were a fan of the first Siren, you'll definitely like what they've done with the game now, which is building on the foundations set in the beginning. The combat system stayed relatively the same, and the overall creepiness of the game has not changed at all. While some games strive for crystal clear graphics with tons of polygons thrown on the screen for no particular reason, Siren has a worn and weathered look to it, which makes it a whole lot scarier than, say, some other survival horror-style games.

This looks like it could be very interesting indeed, and just as creepy as the first. Whether it'll be just as frustratingly hard is unknown. It comes out this winter in Japan, so we'll see.
