Disturbing.

Unread postby Groxley Grunk » Thu Jan 12, 2006 10:42 pm

So I hear all this talk about 'Googling' people now-a-days to see if they're evil freaks and what not. And honestly, talking to folks about it and what they've dug up has got me a bit skeert. I mean, how do I know I'm not some crazy axe-murding pedophile nazi? So, just to be on the safe side and keep me safe from myself, I threw up a search on my own name. And this is what I found.

Apparently I'm worse then I thought. Someone notify the police.

The internet police.

Further digging has found that I'm also a professor of molecular whosiwhatits and a Christian novelst.

I've also published a few childrens books. And here I thought I'd never accomplish anything with my life.

You need to cut back on your multiple personalities, Steve :(, they're slowly taking over your life. You'll soon end up sleeping even longer than you realize, and those personalities will totally start making plans to blow up credit card companies.

That's okay. According to Google, I am either a schooner or a crappy metal song, depending on whether I use my real name or online handle. <p><hr />

I'm apparently a HAM radio operator with the callsign KB8RIJ.

That's more outlandish than I would have thought for my results! I mean, I let that license expire two years ago. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. I located Bizarro Ashley.

I had to link this article.

What's really scary is that my name is Ashley Holmes, and my hometown is Plymouth, Indiana. I went to Plymouth High School. Also, her stepfather's name is Mitch. WTF.

I am bothered, and also feel a bizarre urge to email her or something. <p>-------------------------

If by 'win' you mean that your first hit was you, then take your place in line. My entire first page was me. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television.
