After finally getting a new laptop and a pad, I'd like to hook it up to Stepmania, but I need a converter to use. The one my brother got (a Titanium brand converter) sucks ass and doesn't read the pad correctly (and doesn't register the right arrow most of the time).

The pad I have is an ignition with a foam insert. What's the most accurate converter about I should get for this? <p>--------------------

The converter I used was a Playstation to parallel converter, but I know my laptop doesn't have a parallel port and yours probably doesn't either. I never had problems with it.

The Stepmania website should have a good list of acceptable and compatible converters. <p><hr /><div style="text-align:center"></div>
