I kinda had to share this in case no one knew but.. yeah, they're making Valkyrie Profile 2. Plus they're remaking Valkyrie Profile for the PSP with a couple and added extra bits and pieces.

Seems the battle system and platforming are looking intact, and for those who played the original Valkyrie Profile, does anyone else think that in the third scan in that bottom screenshot... One of those four looks remarkably like one Lezard Valeth? <p>-------------
