If not, it's possible that they just hate women. It's not uncommon and, especially in Nintendo games, not entirely unjustified. <p>-------------------------

Actually, Zelda has been getting more useful lately. She helps you out and stays clear of Ganon's wrath through almost the whole game in Ocarina of Time, and she helps you kick his ass in Wind Waker. Peach also gets to be useful in the Paper Mario games, but she still seems to have trouble everywhere else.
This is still funny, though. Both of them seem to have trouble with the concept that Mario or Link might have other things they'd rather be doing, although on rare occasion I think an apology might be voiced. <p><div style="text-align:center">

Don't forget SMRPG, Brian. I'd like to see someone play through that without Group Hug and Whatever-The-Life-Spell-Was-Called. :D
Oh, also, her floaty jump in SMB2. <p>

This thread made me realize how Peach, when playable, is actually a kickass lady!
As for nintendo characters and princessessesses (this is not how it is spelled?!?), well since Link and Zelda are, in fact, a different Link and a different Zelda in most games, I don't think Link minds that much. <p><div style="text-align:center"> <span style="color:fuchsia;font-family:comic sans ms;font-size:large;">LAMBO SWIMS LIKE A BRICK!!</span>

Plumbers can actually make quite a bit of money, if they're good at their job. Also, Mario spends most of the games picking up gold coins the size of his head, and by the end of every Zelda game I've played, I've had more money than I know what to do with. Also, it's poorly drawn.

The point is not historical accuracy, the point is comedy :( <p><div style="text-align:center">

Aside from her rather spiffy performances in Wind Waker and 4 Swords Adventure, Zelda's pretty kickass whenever
she's playable, too.
She just needs to learn to be playable in games that don't include "Smash Bros." in the title, that's all.
...This suddenly makes me desire a Kingdom Hearts-style game involving Nintendo rather than Disney. o.o <p>

Just as long as you didn't have to play the role of Captain N. He was cool back in the day, but......no. No no no cornflakes no. <p>

As you may have gathered, I didn't think it was funny.

I may have gathered this. The syndicate will put this to a vote, and then shoot anyone who votes in the way that the Don does not believe is in their best interest. You do not fuck with the Don. Nor the Jesus. <p><span style="font-size:xx-small;">"It's in the air, in the headlines in the newspapers, in the blurry images on television. So, then, is the comic funny or not?
I could always build one of these
weird inventions, like the Japanese. <p><div style="text-align:center">

Well, I thought it was funny :(
Not quite as funny as the Japanese prime minister being assaulted by a robot, but still amusing. <p><div style="text-align:center">

It's reasonably funny. I think Princess Zelda is pretty kickass in most of the games she's in aside from the first and second ones- In the third one she basically tells you exactly what to do with her telepathy, contrives her own rescue, and then organizes the sealed girls into a group that kills barriers. Then there's Zelda in Ocarina of Time who's both a ninja and a wizard.
Also: It is possible to beat the game without using Peach provided you're high-level enough, you spend enough time getting those really expensive juice bar drinks, and you collect every single item to make the game easier (like the Lazy Shell). Though I don't think you can beat Culex doing this; you'll run out of items and flowers before you kill him without Group Hug and Come Back. <p>[---------------------------]
