...what I like about it!

Starting with item 1:

-- AVATARS --

Do you see those things? They have a reasonable size limit! No 60x60 pixels for us! No longer for us to exploit the ezcode by adding height and width specifications in our avatar URLs! And just think--no need to ever explain that process to anyone ever again. (You add the thing, to the thing...no, the other thing...y'see, ezboard calls avatars something else...and the textboxes for avatars and posticons aren't on the same page...)

Broken avatars? No problem! Just change it in your profile! Or avoid the problem by uploading your image to the board! Convenient also for the folks without hosting, and also for the others who are called upon to host for the hostingless.

Also, my avatar is awesome. It covers up your avatar. With CUTENESS.

Yes, I notice that if you change your avatar, it changes the avatar for ALL posts. That's nice. Also, I don't need to enter a "subject" just to post my reply! Great!

I have to agree. It's nice that I don't have to go through several pages just to change my avatar then back out and go to another to change something else.
Plus the load time here isn't as bad as it is on EZ boards.

I'm just hoping that it doesn't spontaneously decide to log me out for no reason, and then ask me if I want a bunch of adspam while I'm trying to log back in.

No, don't worry, I won't be adding the ads until after everyone's too used to these forums to switch back.

If you're serious about the Google Ads, Sarah, I can see what I can do. Honestly, I wouldn't mind a bit of a trickle of income to help shore up the server cost, though it's not all _that_ necessary. :O

I would have no objections to the type ads we had on the ezb for a while--those text ads which scanned the threads and such and tried to match up related products/services. They were pretty discreet, insofar as ads go, and occasionally amusing.

Also, back to the original topic:

Item 2

--SUBFORUMED SUBFORUMS--

Those there archives are tidy. :]

I can't believe you people actually sit around long enough on EZboard's login to actually see the ads. Soon as it says "redirecting" you can tell it to stop and go back to the board itself, and you're logged in.

Well thanks to most of our super high speed conections we don't actually get the redirecting message for long enough to push back. In fact as soon as I click the login thing I tend to find myself at that big long list of ad stuff. Its only then I do the Go Back three steps to RPGWW forum.

Suffice to say, having to click back thrice is too much to do.

TOO MUCH TO DO.
