Here's what doesn't make sense. This control scheme issue doesn't exist on the GameCube, so they didn't have any reason to break tradition and have a right-handed Link. So, they didn't. So then, what happened when they decided to develop the game for the Wii? They inverted the entire fucking game. Every location, every monster, every dungeon, every NPC, everything is mirrored.
WTF? No, seriously. I have a hard time believing that it is somehow easier/more effective/more efficient/ whatever to flip the entire game than it would be just to flip the player's character model. I mean, you might have to fiddle with a couple cinematics as well or something, but come on. Everything?
