King of the Pie

and now i'll share a moment of geekiness with you, it's nothing too flashy but here we go.

I had my first D&D session ever, our DM, while a experencied player, was a first time DM and we were first time players, so it has been a noob fest so far.
Anyways, we had a "demo battle", since i kept coming with that "an orc has a pie" joke, we had something based on that, called "king of the pie", a free for all melee in which a monster (randomly selected, a satyr) started out with a pie and we had to take it, every man for himself, victory was given to who ever was in posession of the pie at the end. it was totally silly, i ended throwing my mundane items at everyone (a nailing hammer, a vial of ink and vials of oil.....then setting 'em on fire), i had fun but i think we might had done some "wrong" stuff.

so anyway, any player ever done something like that?

Image

Passing bears, anyone?

My D&D campaigns involved far too much sillyness, including a gnome warrior who rode a fierce battle-pig into combat wielding molotov cocktails, a character who insisted on using his "moon attack" (not a sailor moon thing...just dropping his trousers and mooning the enemy, giving them an attack of opportunity oon is behind - the cannonball was the worst one), and a magical item called "the kablooie" that was only used once, and the resulting explosion removd the dungeon it was used on.

"Moreover, when on the following night, much to his dismay, [Caesar] had a dream of raping his own mother, the soothsayers greatly encouraged him by their interpretations of it: namely, that he was destined to conquer the earth" - Suetonius, The Twelve Caesars - Julius Caesar, chapter 7

I ended up getting my roommate's character drunk, then used my awesome skills to trick the largest woman in the bar to go have sex with him.
