I know that mods don't stack. I said that the mods (or, as they're properly known, enhancement bonuses) don't stack. I was asking about magic abilities.
-_-___-___-___-_-

They don't stack, either. Nothing stacks, ever.
-----

Okay, so the arrows and the bow get a plus ten to dodge.

How about that there's so much magic that the string on the bow breaks?

Not really, because they built up a tolerance to it.

Also, to keep up with this thread's theme I should say something about how it's a racial trait from the Quests of TVLand bonus book or some wacky shit.

How do special materials (mithral, cold iron, adamantium, etc.) affect Craft DCs?

I gave Henry my take: Mithral doesn't affect DCs, because it's supposed to be the same hardness as steel (and thus probably as easy to work with), just lighter. Plus, it's always masterwork, so the DC is already higher. The special cold forging methods you need to use to make sure cold iron stays cold iron increase the DC by 5, as do the special methods you need to use to bend into shape Adamantium, a metal that is prized for its inability to be bent.
-_-___-___-___-_-

If it doesn't say it does, then it doesn't.

For example, in the Eberron Campaign Setting, weapons made of a material called byeshk have a higher Craft DC.
-----

It says that cold iron needs to be forged with a special cold technique, though.
-_-___-___-___-_-

Yes, of course. But I always like to hear the opinions of people with more experience than I have, and of course there's always the chance one of you might actually know the official answer, which I might have missed while snooping through the DMG.
-_-___-___-___-_-

One thing I've found that is if you spend more time reading books then actually playing the game... all your sessions tend to devolve into killing things by throwing dice at them. And that's really dull.

Thus, I reccomend you look back at my other post. When you say: "Hmmm... let's look it up in the book!" To Johnny McPower gamer, he'll keep trying to stump you in an attempt to usurp power. But if you say: "You've put so many enchantments on your arrow that it got confused and just flew towards the nearest living thing. Which was you. Roll for damage, SUCKA." He'll learn to avoid trying to leverage every little number to his advantage.

So next time you have a boring "+2 sword of vorpal danger slash has what kind of attack bonus?" question, just have someone kick you in the balls. You'll eventually learn how to tranfer this sort of pain onto your players. And the whole game will be much more fun for all.

Speaking of which, what attack bonus does a +2 sword of vorpal danger slash have?
-_-___-___-___-_-

A Roshambu styled one.

Now stand still. If we're lucky, I'll get this in one go and you won't be able to reproduce.
